My heart is shattered, I lost my only child suddenly and unexpectedly in 2020, and I have felt numb ever since. I went into a state of shock, and I think I never really came out of it. Maybe it's my brain's way of protecting me. I'm really, really trying so hard not to lose my faith. I pray and pray. I do believe in God, but sometimes I feel that He doesn't believe in me 😢. While I am happy that Kathie Lee Gifford loves Jesus and her enthusiasm about Him, I disagree with her conclusion about, the date of Christ’s birth and how she arrived at it. I lived in the Holy Land and the rainiest season is in January. I was in Shepherds’’ field in Bethlehem December 24, 2009 and it was a clear, cold starry night. In all of December there was no rain. The Catholic Chuch has the fullness of the true Christian faith handed down by apostolic succession and is the only church that offers the true body and blood of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist. It is historical and the truth. The Jewish people do not accept Christ as the Saviour so a Jewish rabbi that she confides in will not give her accurate information. I am very happy Julie that you have found Jesus and you are making Him first in your life - you are on the right track but please keep researching as a journalist the early Church Fathers and all you can about Catholicism and Christianity. The most important, being the true precious body and blood of Jesus Christ which you will find only in the Catholic Church because of apostolic succession. I am so happy to hear that you have found Jesus, the only Way, the Truth and the Life. Please check out Dr. Taylor Marshall who is a convert and biblical scholar and very renowned in the Catholic faith.
