The Jackson 5 is really very remarkable in the field of music . For Michael Jackson who was the most promising of them all is just like a living monarchy of their family when it comes to music. He made the biggest musical era where these boys came from and a leading history and legacy of phenomenal musicians in the world.

Nice
I wonder if Syd ever heard Shine on You Crazy Diamond.
Syd was a genius. Nobody seems to know exactly what happened to him. But it's obvious something did happen to him. I personally think it was a combination of excessive drug use and the pressure of the Music Industry. I think it all did something to his brain. Excessive use of illegal drugs is not good for anybody. So sad. So much talent that went to waste. My heart goes out to his family.
fico triste com essa humanidade de sabichões que sao uns bostas
vendo filme mtotley crue as drogas nso e o mal
injusticado pelos medicos materialistas que nao entendem porra nenhuma de alma
It just makes me sad to see Syd at 3:12 like this.. older and bald, he changed so much, his music means the world to me, he just looks so different from his acid drenched hippie painter musician from the year 1970, he just looks depressed. There's no doubt he was a musical legend and a genius.
it is not all true, he was a happy man....sometimes
Poor guy. I'm pretty certain his life was more or less miserable. I read he often had severe depressive episodes and anger outbursts. It's sad he never bounced back from his burnout.
Hermano feliz x regalarnos está joyita.Syd sigue brillando diamante loco .
Good pictures. Thanks.
Is that David Bowie? At 4:22
No, that's the journalist who interviewed Syd who he allowed himself to be photographed with.
Shine on....you crazy fruit bat, talentless bastard!!!
He was Beautiful until he passed✨✨✨✨💯

I was in canbidge in 1998h sid came out ov a shop I sed hello he just winked looked at me I said miss u man he just kept walking wow
I have a favorites which I’m trying to keep down to 15 and your two compilations made it. You know how he stood with hands on hips? There is a toddler pic with him doing that....it’s perfect. Thanks so much
They were good with Syd. But let's face it, their music improved enormously after he wigged out and left the band.
Na no match Syd worked in very dynamic way totally unpredictable whereas they sounded like any other band no uniquness
The best
lol this midi. beautiful.
Ive spent the last week or so researching Syd Barrett. In some ways, it's just a typical, somewhat common Rock and Roll star story - the burn out and fade away story, but on the other hand this story is unique. Barrett didn't die of an overdose, like Joplin, Hendrix, Bon Scott, Cobain, etc. etc. There are conflicting stories. Syd was a known user of LSD. It's also likely that there was preexisting mental illness, which was only expanded and deepened by the LSD. Some say schizophrenia, but I and others suspect Asbergers Syndrome, as the primary, along with anyone's guess for co occurring or multiple mental health issues. I would be curious how he would be diagnosed in this day and age. The interviews with his sister: She makes it sound like not much was wrong with him, that he was not a recluse and had no mental illness. But we have to remember, she is not likely to have told the whole story, and out of respect, downplayed the truth. Other stories from neighbors and townspeople who encountered him make it sound like there's no question about how weirded out he had become. The sister claims he continued as an artist, made it sound like he was just a mellowed out artist who prefered to be alone, that he did paintings, gardening, and made homemade furniture. But others say yes, he did those things, but also was known to set the entire garden on fire after ripping all the plants up in an angry rage. The homemade furniture - IVe seen pictures of all the things from his estate that were auctioned off. That furniture was not are. It looked like something a child would TRY to put together, and very plain jane - nothing carved or painted. Just stuff made out of scrap lumber and DIY kits. They say he burned his paintings after he completed them, but maybe took pictures of them first. Supposedly in 2001, his sister talked him into watching a BBC documentary about himself, and he didn't like it. A neighbor said in the 80s 90s he often would be heard yelling in anger about how he hated Roger Waters. It's a mystery for sure. He did not die of LSD overdose, still the overdose had a permanent effect. Supposed one weekend in the late 60s, he had been missing for a few days. When they found him, something obviously had happened - it was clear this time things were different. They say it was discussed that lot's of people had been spiking his coffee with LSD that weekend, hence too much, and a permanent effect. But it was said there was a long but slow improvement after some medication and long period of time with no drugs at all. He was a chain smoker, had diabetes, but did not take his meds.
SamBob 63 thanks for the effort
The guy who does Black Magic Woman and his roady went to a German estate where people lived together and loved tripping. They both went weird along the same lines as Roger was found. Both took long time to recover and function ok again and recovery did include shock treatments. ( they aren’t like in the old days with horrible pictures and dramatizations. ) I myself read a lot and I’m ok with some autistic spectrum something and also believe he tripped on that particular acid and that in fact whoever gave it to him knew it’s chemistry to potentially permanently damage brain cells. Anything the next door neighbor may have reported is most likely false. He was a chronic storyteller and lied a lot according to associates from Cambridge day’s. If he did tear up his garden and set fire to it I’d be surprised but that’s not such huge breakdown. Some people do burn for better control of weeds. What I’m saying is you can pick and choose what to believe and remember there is always another side to most things. I agree his family ....sister...played things down and wanted to protect him. I do believe his mom had particular effect on him in a control kind of way. They didn’t want him going back to London. They wanted him safe at home and pretty much got what they wanted. He really did create a genre of music having been influenced a lot but his efforts culminated in to a real I own it style Syd Style. Anyway. Brain damage. Doesn’t make him a genius but creatively he probably was....that’s going along the autism spectrum. He did end his steps up on the balls of his feet in childhood thru the end. He did have synesthesia.
Syd was a man of letters. The reason is in those lyrics etc. "The black and green scarecrow was sadder than me.... He just didn't want to be a pop star in a dying world... Living alone is a drag but he had his income from his legacy . RIP.
@@cynthiamarston2208 I too belive he was hugely misunderstood Different times those days were with no support system
