Hi I'm Lyndsay from Lyndsay Makes and today I'm making a tribute for ANZAC day here in Australia and New Zealand (25th April 2024). The meaning of ANZAC Day today includes the remembrance of all Australians and New Zealanders killed in military operations and the animals that served beside them. Lest we forget. I used a few items in this reel - but most notably the new tools released by Siser A...

Hi I'm Lyndsay from Lyndsay Makes and today I'm making a cute beach/tote/shopping bag from a repurposed gingham Santa Sack. Thank you to Only The Sweet Stuff for providing the blank I am working with. Thank you also to my @siseranz6239 Craft Heat Press which subbed in for my iron and ironing board during the filming of this video. I am happy to answer any questions you may have, please feel fre...
Love that you're repurposing so much. I already know this is going to be so amazing!
Thanks Sarah!! I appreciate the comments - makes me want to get moving on a second video haha
I love it already!!!! You know how excited I am about your Dream House. I love all the stuff you got from recycle place. Some awesome textures and useful pieces that are perfect sizes!!!!!
Thanks so much Erica!! Yes I think Resource Rescue will be my first stop from now on! I’ve already used some of the trim for another project!!
Pew Pew!!! R2 looks 🔥🔥🔥
Absolutely beautiful Lyndsay, I ordered mine yesterday and should arrive on Friday 🥰
Thanks so much Kaye! Still getting used to CZcams so sorry for the delay in my reply! I love the layered elements in this project and it’s making me think about how I can do something similar on my new dollhouse project!
Wow these machines are so much more dynamic! They have so many options and varieties that fill pattern is insane!! All I do is cut felt but gosh this makes me want to just play and craft so much more ❤❤❤
Such a beautiful project Lynds! It's just gorgeous. I love the combo of the paper poppies lit up behind the etched acrylic! Love that you featured the purple poppies for service animals 💜💜💜
You definitely inspired the purple poppies my creature loving friend!
Ohh Lynds, it turned out so pretty, I love how you've incorporated the flowers in the light box
Thanks so much Julz xxx
I love how you layered acrylic over 3D cardstock!
Ohh I love it
As a novice sewer, this gives me confidence to tackle a project like this!
Thanks so much Sarah!! That’s the best compliment! Hopefully the next project I film will be back in my confident wheelhouse… HTV! Where there are no bobbins! Haha!
Thankyou for the shout out 😊 have subscribed and can't wait to see what you do next ❤
Thank you so much Holly!! It was the biggest highlight seeing your finished bag. You did an incredible job and it made me so happy that I inspired you in a small way! 💛💛
Definitely my favourite Master-class so far ❤️ still can't believe we did the same drink bottle 😂 you've definitely inspired me to think beyond the item in front of me ❤️
I love this project!! It's so quick and cute and clever! Would never have believed it started life as a Santa sack! 💜💜💜
Thank you so much E (also can I start calling you Ricky??) I’ve been thinking about this bag a lot and how it might make my future satchel projects even easier. I hope you didn’t cringe too much at my rough sewing 😂😂
@LyndsayMakes haha of course you can call me Ricky! That's great it will help more with your satchels! Haha I loved your rough sewing! Mine would be the same! 💜💜
