Just the video I am looking for. It is amazing how little there is out there about making your own scutum. Could I ask as I am copying your tire method can I ask about it: 1 - What diameter was the curve circumeference roughly? 2 - How long do you leave to cure when wrapped down? 3 - Does the type of glue matter? 4 - How long to wet the wood for? 5 - What sort of paint matters and can you use canvas instead of linen? 6 - How did you get the Eagle Design on there? weas it painted or decals? Hope these aren't too many questions for you, but thanks in advance!

Those scutums definitely don't look like they were made for 1 vs 1 combat. Lot of ways around them without the shield wall. Good video though. Informative.
