I like the suggestions but as for sleeping baby, you cannot control is, especially if the baby is not so newborn, like 30-40 days old.

I totally disagree with #5 It does not look unprofessional if the baby is awake. In fact some parents/clients love awake baby photos!

Hi, I don’t know if you take suggestions, but if you do…. can you make a video one how to pose an older baby for photoshoots and also give many ideas on environments, the baby’s style, etc. For their monthly photoshoots at home? I would really appreciate it. It’s hard for me to come up with ideas and most things online are towards younger babies. I also tend to dress her a bit dressier (not fancy event dressy) like with cute little dresses. Thank you

What backdrop are you using here? Is it the same as in your description?

What camera u use and also is iPhone camera enough to take photos?
Hi Fay, I use a Canon 5D Mark III, but you don’t need a pro camera to take amazing newborn photos. With any smartphone you can do great photography at home.
