When I played BDO actively, what turned me off from guild action was how bad territorial wars were for people who we're first getting into PvP. The difference between the best PEN gear (optimal builds), and something like a usual scrappy TRI loadout was ridiculous. People who didn't have the best in slot gear, regardless of their character level, were just cannon fodder. I played warrior, and expected at least some survivability, only to bite the dust in around 4 seconds. Looking at the scoreboard, usually around 10% of the attendants had 90% of the kills. Only a small number of people could actually fight, and the rest existed only to soak damage from enemy defenses. It was so absurd it wasn't even funny. Fort assaults looked like moshpits of nonsense, where you'd die in seconds if you went in, or have to roll the dice in terms of potentially finding an equal fight with other stragglers around the outskirts of the chaos, which usually wasn't the case.

There are two separate topics: node wars and "open world pvp". Nodewar system is weird and sucks but open world "pvp players" could swap to Arsha all together and get what they want but I suppose they do not want to because they want to grief, farm and spam "dfs" on people trying to grind.

Also, i think you're even overrating aos money XD that shit does not take only 7 minutes per match, maybe its 7 minutes of active game rounds but with all the waiting involved, loading screens and then queue times as well its easily like 15 mins per game to get 2 perfumes :D

The player limit seems off because you solve the issue of 150 players where only 75 or 50 actually participate (which is half) by reducing it to 100. However, the max number of players you allow to play is 30 in the terrible node and 50 in the old node. The limits should be 50 and 75 to better motivate guild players and reduce headaches for guild staff. For the War of the Roses, it’s simpler to let players choose the captain instead of making a GM work or leaving it to a content creator to manage 300 people. Just have each side vote for a captain from the 300 selected players. I still think we need sided wars, especially with the desert spot bringing back PvP and PK. Overall, great video and excellent work!

You forget rewards for loosing guilds. It's better to try when you know you'll get at least something. And we need fresh names on our scene.

This dude literally made a PowerPoint presentation that PA can take a look at and see the obvious flaws as well as take some notes/ideas to revive the PvP scene. AND FOR FREE. It is truly baffling to me how they can be handed ideas and fixes on a silver platter by the PvP community and still refuse to do anything to save it. The time for change is now as every week they wait, they will bleed more and more players that will not be coming back, even if they do something in 2 years or however long it takes them to fix this. There is no end game content in BDO, uncapped PvP WAS the end game content, and as soon as the casuals start realizing that there's nothing after the debo grinds they'll start leaving too because at some point ''haha number go up'' just stops being enjoyable. Hopefully they at least see some of these points and consider them. But I guess in the mean time we either touch grass, play something else or hit the amazing ''new'' Dekhia v2 mobs that so creatively designed and are such a revolutionary concept that it puts the inventor of the wheel to shame.

Only thing i dont agree fully is the new nw and old nw rotation. I prefer new nw be a 20 man content with 5-6 forts with smaller maps. And a content that u can do 18:00-19:00 cest. Rest is really good ideas loved it

its just insane that they teased the new war system, players told them that it sucks, they went through with it, players still told them it kinda sucks, they then release an announcement saying some shit like "we arent reverting it" and it continued to suck, no changes at all from start to now. i want to disagree, last time na eu making podcast to change the new nw system but it didnt work as planned (decrease the number of player in nw). PA did listen and change accordingly but after the player experienced it, they want to revert it back (increase the number of player in nw)...this is just a roller coaster, player dont know what they want. Pvper just want to shit on people and say they better which they cant do it irl.

The worst thing about PA is that they know how to fix the game but refuse to do it until another competitor appears on their radar. They already have a NW system to place weak vs weak guilds and strong vs strong guilds, it was revealed during the last Ball and we will probably only ever see it when anoter big MMO's launch date is approaching. They've also shown signs that they know how to fix OWP since they removed special evasion, a mechanic which used to benefit those who were punished for their mistakes in general, yet they want to keep up us in mud with tank meta dominating OWP currently and they expect us, to believe them, that Sovereign weapons are going to bring more DPS in OWP when they give +12 DR from sovereign and +24 DR from new PVP Artifacfs. Also currently T1 NWs are roughly -600 mil per NW on average if you are using immortals, quite a mystery how 1h nodes spawn daily now without anything written in patch notes.
