@@mopar Thanks. The cornering light magically turned off today. It has a mind of its own. I will message you anyway because I’m having an issue with the drivers side headlight. It’s made out of cheap plastic and a small rock went right through it on the road. The manual indicates “lighter plastic less susceptible to stone damage” but that’s far from the truth. It’s cheap thin plastic and costs $1500 to replace.

Hey, @TRONATHON888. We appreciate the question. Though there is no automatic headlights in your vehicle, if they are equipped, your Compass may have daytime running lights which are automatic. Here is an excerpt about them from your owners manual: "The high beam lights will come on as Daytime Running Lights (lower intensity), whenever the ignition is ON, the engine is running, the headlight switch is off, the parking brake is off, the turn signal is off, and the shift lever is in any position except PARK."
