Dave played this song from John Lennon and Yoko Ono's 1980 album Double Fantasy at a tribute to Lennon's death on 12.8.05 on SIRIUS Satellite Radio.

INSTRUMENTAL - This instrumental number was supposedly recorded by Dave during the studio sessions for his "Some Devil" album. It was officially released on a compilation CD called, "Sounds of Wood and Steel, Vol. 3".

During the Lillywhite studio sessions prior to the summer tour of 2000, the "John the Revelator" lyrics were removed so the title was shortened to "JTR."

This song appeared in the Dave and Tim 1997 tour as a slight evolution from the 1996 Dave and Tim song known as "Weight of the World." Then in 1997 evolved into "Don't Drink the Water" during the Before These Crowded Streets studio sessions.

This powerful segue was only featured in the Winter 1997 Dave and Tim tour, usually segueing into Typical Situation. Since the passion in the song was unsurpassed and the profound lyrics were evolving, it enjoyed much scrutiny by fans.

This predecessor of Say Goodbye began appearing as periodic Dave solo features during the summer and early fall of 1993, when Dave used to frequently begin each show with several solo performances.

With chord progressions similar to "Crash Into Me", this song was briefly known as the 'new song' during the Summer 1996 tour even though it was only played three times.

This appears to be an improvised song that Dave and Friends played and/or teased several times over the course of the Caribbean Cruise Getaway in February 2006.
