Fastest coyote I've ever seen. We may have had a hit at the very end, lead looked good and we shot at almost the exact same time.

Excellent night full of coyotes. First one was a miss, pretty long shots in the range of 300 to nearly 500 yds. Second yote I didn't catch on video, It was the smaller one, a female. Third was the larger one, also a female. Last one looked like a much bigger coyote, caught our wind and turned at 200-300 yds. Even though we didn't get him we had a lot of fun trying! Skunks are my nemesis. Every time they show up they come right for me. Once that was dispatched, a coyote came in at 350 yds and wouldn't come closer so I had to send a few. I made mine with 66% standard thermite with red iron oxide and aluminum powder along with 29% barium nitrate and 2%sulfur and 3% potassium nitrate. That's my thermate composition, and it burns for a long time, super bright and extremely hot it. it does require a starting mix. I used 5 parts potassium nitrate, 2 parts sulfur, and 3 parts powder, and it works great

Did you have to adjust the gas block? Is it even adjustable?
The gas block on this rifle is not adjustable so it is overgassing pretty heavily but the buffer on the LAR-8 is pretty stiff so it handles it. I also run this can on an AR-15 that has an adjustable gas block on it and you have to be careful about changing bullet weights or you'll have FTF/DF issues. I went from 55gr to 62gr and had a terrible doublefeed during a night coyote hunt, it's in one of my vids on here.
Did you align your cutouts inside the suppressor or offset them?
It's a Quiet Bore kit, it has K-baffles. No clips. If you mean the ports, they're aligned.

Accelerator pump shot too big is my guess.
In a followup vid I got it squared away. The float level was too high. I could literally back the truck down from that level spot to a place just slightly off level and it would slowly die. Runs like a champ now.

In a place I know it will flood I drive with 2 feet, one on the brake and the other on the gas. Cold starts are a pain in the ass. This truck sits a lot so the gas evaporates in the bowls. I have to crank it for about 10 seconds pumping gas up to the carb from the tank, then work the gas pedal 3-4 times and it will usually fire up really easy. When it stalls on a steep incline I have to just hold it to the floor while cranking and it'll fire up. It was stuck on that incline so I had to start it in reverse to make it hop out the holes it dig with the back tires lol. Thanks for the sub!

Thanks! Recently pulled the engine for some freshening up, a set of flat top pistons, 268H cam, and re-bearing the bottom end so I'm looking forward to how it sounds with that setup. Also going to install a 2400 stall converter, should launch much better.

They're so heavily "medicated" here in the states you have to be really careful. They also tend to work with help so you have to be aware especially of what you don't see. A friend that drove by said the driver looked like a gang member. Greetings from West Virginia!
