Richard, Can you expand on the quality of internet throughout Costa Rica? I understand that San Jose has quality fiber optic but what about areas outside of the central valley?

Stay away from Costa Rica. It’s super expensive and is slowly becoming unsafe in some areas due to cartels .

What about building in Samara?

Hmmm....his recommended area is ambiguous. There's matapalo inland from playa grande and one near playa blanca.....🤷‍♂️

Do not buy here, especially the beach front lots. They have destroyed the ecosystem bringing thousands of tonnes of earth to fill in the wetlands. The houses will also make it impossible for migrating crabs to lay their eggs on the beach which come down from the near by mountain. A lot of this earth will end up in the river mouths suffocating river borne species and as well as effect the quality of the surf break.

What's your thoughts on the feasability study for a 3rd international airport in the south of the country? I would like to consider Uvita in 10 years when I retire (I know, a bit far out).

Nosara market hasn’t been affected by all the cartel murders in the last year? It has one of the highest murder rates in the country.

What are your thoughts of purchasing land in the Playa Panama, Guanacaste area, within a few miles inland of El Mangrove. I believe there is a new development in the works called Papagayo Estates? Seems to be more affordable than other areas but was curious of your opinion if this could be a good investment in the near future?

I was interested in this video as I want to buy a hobby farm in Costa Rica in my retirement (a few years away), but I didn't find the content very geared towards this. I would love to see a video for a hobby farm. I don't want to make money, just enough to break even and enjoy some chickens and goats.
