When installing that, does the original reverse camera that comes with the car still work?
Thank you for your concern about the reverse camera. You can turn on the OE camera of your car in the settings. This setting is turned on, it means you can display the reverse camera in carplay system which is the system provided by carabc, if you turn the OE off, then the reverse camera will be displayed in your original system which is the system before carplay is connected, it is equivalent to channel on and off. There is no way to realize the application in both systems at the same time .

Hello there. I own a Mercedes SLK (R172) and I have installed the CarABC device in the Becker's slot. I use it for more than 6 months and It works fantastic. However I think it would be much much better if the CarABC device was used only to display the Carplay and Android Auto intefaces and all sounds were routed directly from the mobile to the car's bluetooth. Not only the sound would be much better with one direct bluetooth connection, it would also feel fully integrated as you could take phone calls or get navigation directions while listening to the car's radio without having to change the source to CarABC device which sometimes can be confusing while driving. Think about it. I would appreciated a firmware update with such an option.

Mine doesn’t connect to the car. When it says if I authorize and gives the code on the screen I press ok and then it fails. I tried resetting everything but nothing is fixed. The phone connects perfectly.

I have the same Problem with the Connect , between the car and the Modul. Smartphone and Modul Connecticut is ok. The Modul works for maybe 3 Montag, singen yesterday no Connecticut to the car 😢😢

Connect via your Mercedes to connect it to your phone, IF you connect it via Bluetooth audio it rejects it but via PHONE it will accept it and you’re done
Connect Bluetooth over Command Tel settings and not Audio setting and it will except. I also was pulling my hair out 😂
