Lmao, we had a kid like this back in our high school fitness class. Now I’m reminiscing, so bear with me while I share this overly long story haha. This guy would do these weak ‘less than half’ push ups and then always brag and act cocky about how many he could do. We had to record our workouts for the class in a notebook every day, and he always had ridiculously high numbers that’d he go around bragging about to everyone else outside of our class (literally going around showing random girls the journal and shit, saying “look how many push-ups I can do” 😂 was very amusing/embarrassing to watch). Well imagine his surprise when towards the end of the year, when we are doing our final fitness evaluations (a series of physical tests to see how much you improved over the year/how high of a score you can get. Unlike our numbers we would write down in our journals for our workouts throughout the year, these final fitness tests were being judged and counted by the teacher, and were worth a significant amount of our grade), and he gets his results for his “push up” evaluation. The highest score so far in our class that year was 70 legit push-ups, and in order to get a 100% for the push-up test, you needed 40 (or maybe) 50+ push-ups. He starts doing his and he’s literally just talking shit the whole time, saying how easy it is, while he does his, barely moving, totally not proper push-ups. He is counting out each of his “push-ups” as he does them (our teacher wouldn’t count out loud, as we were meant to know what was and wasn’t proper form, during the final evaluation they weren’t allowed to tell us until the end what our proper score was). He manages to push himself to 80 of these fake push ups, just so he could say he got the highest score, and he immediately jumped up afterwards and was so cocky. He starts bragging about how much better he is than all of us, and how not only did he beat all of us in the class, but also about how he, “probably broke the school record for most push ups of all time”. While he’s in the middle of doing all this, celebrating and dancing all over the place, our teacher looks up from her clipboard, cuts him off mid sentence and says, “(kids name)! You DID NOT do 80 push-ups! I counted EXACTLY five proper pushups that you did! You received a 0% score on the push-up test!” And then just walks away all nonchalant 😂 I have never seen someone go from so loud and cocky, to so quiet and embarrassed that quickly. He didn’t say another word for the rest of the day in that class, and I never once heard him bring up push-ups ever again hahaha. A few of the other kids took to teasing him for this, the one joke I remember a few kids repeating always went something along the lines of them seeing him, and then saying something like, “oh wow! No way! Is… is that Mr. 80 right there!?”, before switching their tone and going, “oh wait, no… you’re Mr. 5, sorry! I had you confused for someone else…” It was kind of a lame joke, but I heard some variation of it quite a few times, and the poor kid never had a good response for it. You could always tell our teacher gave him a huge ego check that day lol. Haven’t thought about that in many years now, so thanks for reminding me with a silly little Batman short, and sorry about the length of my dumb little story to anyone who read the whole thing 😂

Turn down “body up sensitivity” it gets rid of this rubberband defense effect, also make fast breaks feel fast again cause it’s not sucking you into these trash animations. Hopefully this helps!
