What wonderful memories I have listening to KVIL forever!! Thanks for posting this, because Jody you are one of them!!

The drive to work in the mornings just wasn't the same without Ron at the helm. I like many many others followed him "down the dial" as he put it. His final signoff on KLUV was a sad time. His brief return on 96.7 was short lived but great. We'll always remember the greatest DJ ever.

Some of the scenes of Woldercan's destruction were from the 1961 movie "Atlantis, the Lost Continent"

Thanks, Jody! I'll never forget how welcome Ron made me feel when I got the APD gig at KVIL. I still have all of the radio and Cowboys memorabilia he gave me to decorate my office.

I have memories of so many events from those years that Ron helped all of us understand, including this. I still remember the precise moment I learned of John Lennon’s death was hearing Ron deliver the news. I loved that show so much!! He was just the absolute best.

I am retired, but I used to work with a special group of kids in high school, who were actually classed as “disabled” because they were so intelligent. What a ride that was. From watching your videos it can easily be seen that you are going to be king of the world! What an inspiration you are. Thank you for using your brains!
