Hino Trucks Work Truck Week EV Press Conference
During a press conference at NTEA Work Truck Week, Hino Trucks announced an expansion of its product range to include electric vehicles. Hino Trucks will offer an electric version of their M- and L- Series medium duty trucks branded Me Series and Le Series available in 2024. Hino Trucks will begin production of these new vehicles integrating SEA Electric’s SEA-Drive® power system.

5:36 what is more interesting that all the DEMO's of this truck the representing are short people ,about 5' tall . For them might be Ok....🤣
Over 1 year I am driving a 2023 L7 model . Only 1 single positive about it this truck : good on consumption ! And that's it ! We stop here ! To drive..in special hours, forget it ! Comfort : ZERO ! With all the nice design interior...just forget about it ! No space...steering wheel adjustment very bad, BT why they put for ? Because useless ,very bad ! I am 5.7' and there is no space to go more with the seat ...so I imagine some taller guy :)) Good luck :) The question is : WHY ??? The engineer of this famous truck Why do you make it so small the cab ???? We spend hrs every day in this cab with ZERO comfort ! The steering wheel adjustment jut horrible ! So good people I can say that this trucks are good for nothing ! After a while starts to hurt you everywhere ! Your back,arms,shoulders !!! Big mistake by HYNO !!!!!!!
So..Papi I understand this presentation from your side to Hino :) But you never been on the road with this truck for hours.....and I see the way you are driving ...in that position with two hands...ohh man :) You won't survive 30 minutes in that position :)

Hi. Can you sell in west Africa?
The amber dpr icon between the dpr gauge and the DEF gauge on the instrument cluster on my 2019 Hino 195 is always on. Is that normal? Should it go off after a regeneration? In the video at 9:13 you say the lights go off after a regeneration. My light stays constantly on on the instrument cluster. The manual blinking light has never gone on to ask for a manual regeneration. I’ve also seen videos of the 195 truck running with that icon illuminated.
What does it mean when the turtle light is on on a 2019 hino box truck
The turtle light means the engine is in a power derate mode, typically from a DTC that is present or a DEF contamination/ empty scenario. Could be several different issues that can cause it. Please contact your local dealer www.hino.com/dealers.html for additional assistance.
how to force a regen manually when there is not a flashing dpr light? my '18 hino 260 just throws a check engine code, so I take it in, they use the computer to regen 2 or 3 times. Id like to save the money.

How come Toyota (same as other hybrids manufacturers) doesn’t understand that frequent switching of the ice kills it faster than just engine running in idle mode? Hybrid idea is great, but just do not switch engine off and on instead let it run regardless of situation
They may use an oil accumulator. Race cars have been using them for years.

@@aawone not exactly. According to the federal government the model I had was stopped in production. Your a specialist? Yeah I’ve supposedly met quite a few. Only these days when people say specialist,it’s ignored. Especially when it comes to vehicles.so! I deleted to refrain from spilling my guts out about how stupid these trucks are. I’ve since got rid of all 3 hino trucks and haven’t had a problem since👍🏼.
@@aawone thanks bro but I’ve since sold the few hino’s I had. Every 50 miles or so I had problems with them. Always was told this sensor or that sensor😂.

This one sucks, just have your own cabover which is similar to Hino Ranger or even Profia! It can even competes more than Japanese competitors such as isuzu f-series

@@geegotti2835 a mechanic can force it to regen with a computer. my hino just throws a check engine light, so we take it in, and usually the mechanic forces a regen 2 or 3 times. Hino regen procedures / systems are lacking

Having the same problem, did you figure it out?
@@PeterNguyen-ev3fz the only way I am able to complete dpr regen is when it does it by itselfs. The Dashboard will announce it usually when I parked.
