What a sin; they never should have even made that car with an automatic transmission. This is one of my dream cars, but the two pedal version is a complete dealbreaker. 😢
Beautiful machine but sounds quite lumpy on idle and a little cammy when revved.
well yes, when ALPINA got this car they worked their magic on the M30 engine and installed a higher lift cam and higher compression pistons, thats why she has that lumpy idle
Classic BMW's were ugly & plasticy on the inside modern ones are ugly on the outside while reliability has always been questionable
Camillia designed BMW 6 series in 80's and VW in 70's is setting the benchmark of slick and beauty..Love E24

As a mechanic the first time I saw one of these fantastic cars, I put an apprentice in it and asked him to get out . needless to say I had my lunch before he did get out

What's left of the old TVR factory is just a couple of streets away from me in Blackpool. They still do maintenance and renovations there, just a couple of industrial units left sadly.

For Aesthetics i would swap out those orange indicators front and side for clear ones and the exhaust needs picking up on the drivers side rear. Hope you enjoy your Cerbera as i do. All the Best for the future.

Tvr cars are pretty interesting
I wouldn’t spend money on one. Not with Porsche out there. TVR is just too unreliable in the main.

@@SebasWorldTVjust dmmed u on ig but; its leaking a little bit parallel to the side mirror, and when you open the door its very wet, you can feel like the water all around the seem, idk if this is normal or not, or safe... for rust. Is there anything you would suggest to combat these issues/how to fix the leaking. I went to the self serve car wash and this happened, so I can only imagine a heavy rain storm :(
@@bread7289 well the trim itself that we are working on is just a cosmetic piece from the looks of it. The inner rubber door seal is what protects the interior from water. I would check and make sure your rubber door seal isn’t torn or improperly placed

Would love to hear the sound of the exhaust without the music. I’d look into getting an aftermarket exhaust manifold, and 3” down pipe and 3” straight pipe exhaust. That’s a HUGE upgrade to a turbo car because boost gets built way quicker and holds way longer. With those 3 things, manifold, down pipe, and exhaust, you could see a 20-40 WHEEL horsepower increase. If you throw a proper tune on top of that, even more!
Yup...it's a ricer exhaust! Poor Jetta, must be embarrassed to go down the road!

@@Donovanx08 yes i did. it works pretty well and better than before. a good prep and better glue is important during Installation.

@@Lukemasonmedia Some parts of the world require the car to be LHD to be legal for road use. The last owner of this car lived in Chile and the rules state that all cars have to be LHD to be eligible for road use. I believe Saudi Arabia is the same. The process to convert is extremely laborious and tricky since the steering rack needs be flipped over and the clutch, brake accelerator pedal all have to be re located not to mention the wiring harness has to be lengthened. The dash is then sectioned into 3 or more pieces then re fiberglassed together. In my personal opinion it is much more convenient and comfortable for everyday use here in the USA. look me up on instagram, I posted some photos of the rebuild of this car. @sebasworldtv
hey dude, how did you go about installing the bulkhead fittings for the feed and return onto the fuel tank top hat? would you have to cut away the factory bits?

Why would they keep the alternator up there in the way of running that line straight? Simply create a bracket for it on the passenger side bottom, where it should go.
any update on this? Does it peel off or fall off? hows the glue holding up inside of it?

Man, you are a life saver. The sedans are absolutely impossible to fine. Have you noticed any differences with the door closing and etc?
Nothing man, doors seal perfectly and no rain gets in! Glad it was able to help you! It should be the same procedure for the 4 door
What's your experience if you've done this on the sedan
did you replace the fuel lines that lay across the gas tank? i know there are feed and return lines but what about the venturi fuel line? i am about to switch to E85 and the only thing left is to upgrade the hoses for e85
