Vitamin - C (Ascorbic Acid) DOES NOT WORK on Semi Permanent Colors which contain DIRECT DYES that are not formed by Oxidation so this test was a waste of time and money. Using TABLETS which contain filler, sweetener, flavors, colorants, buffers, binding agents are not a good option at all.

It doesn’t work on vibrant colors

That did absolutely nothing. A bleach bath using 30vol would have worked better. Next time you should try using a color remover that doesnt use bleach. My fave color remover is from One n Only colorfix. It works amazing to remove fashion colors without damaging the hair.

Hey just fyi, if you end up getting bored of this be extremely careful if you want to dye or bleach over it. Henna is not usually compatable w the compounds in dyes and bleach and hairdressers have talked about really scary chemical reactions happening when trying to dye over clients henna'd hair. If you do try MAKE SURE TO TEST A SMALL SWATCH of hair that you dont care about possibly melting off. You can look up the info yourself, theres differing opinions and it could be certain brands of henna that have heavier metals or elements added in, just thought id warn you since you love to change it up! I think it looks lovely in your hair, i did a red henna in mine and liked the look but hated the lingering smell that lasted literal weeks even which clung to everything I put my head on 😭 will never do that again.
