Thanks for the video. The More was recommended to my 91-year-old Mom. The audiologist did not cover what level 1-2-3 would be best for her - but simply showed her the price difference. While she has an active lifestyle for 91 it is what I would call a quiet one. For her, would there be a real difference in her hearing experience between the different levels.? Or best to save some money and just buy the basic level? Thanks!

Some Oticon HA's have issues using a ConnectClip for Bluetooth application causing intermitted muting audios that has not been resolved.

Music sound is lousy and your voice is week to listen to

Starkey only offers a 1 year warranty! The same thing happened to both of my hearing aids. Something in the shell went out the left hearing aids was still under warranty the right hearing aid done the same thing only 4 months after my warranty ran out and now Starkey refuses to fix it! I spent a year in the audiology office just trying to get them to sound right and when they finally got close both hearing aids went out! I am on SSDI and cannot afford to buy Starkies expensive hearing aids and pay for high cost repairs. Sadly I am going deaf and no one cares, it's all about the dollar and not the person! I think it's a shame to rob someone of their hearing before the actually go deaf for the rest of their life! I have been told Starkey will warranty only the right hearing aid and the only thing they will cover in that warranty is actually what's wrong with it and if anything else goes wrong with any part of that hearing aid, I will have to pay to have it fixed! $345 to warranty one part in the shell for one year! I don't have any money to get it fixed and MEDICARE wil not pay ANYTHING to help me get it fixed so I can hear! I just tried beltone and they aren't any good either had to take those back! I refuse to be connected to AI and and APP on my phone and be tracked and listened to every where I go and every conversation I have! The Bluetooth crap just runs the battery down on my phone to the point that my phone constantly stay's plugged in on the charger. wifi comes and goes which causes my hearing aids to come on and go off every few seconds! What joke! If I connect them to the app and walk into another room the hearing aids lose connection and turn off! I don't what to fry my brain with 5G wifi I'm going deaf quick enough! So Starkey and Beltone can have the brain cancer causing hearing aids, THEY SUCK!

Hello! I purchased Omnia 7 rechargeable in Jan 2023 along with new iPhone 14 plus. Had iPhone XR which did not support hands free calling due to which has to purchase 14 plus. In the last two to three months, my hearing aids auto restart whenever an audio call or WhatsApp audio or video call is terminated. This has been a big headaches. HAs were sent to service Center to diagnose the issue but in vain. Issue symbol persists. Can you please help me fix this issue? What should be done?

Is this Bluetooth and Alexa compatible?

I just got fitted for Resound Omnia 9 with M&RIE receiver. My audiologist is loathed to try anything but a closed dome because of the likelihood of feedback at high freq. At 500Hz I'm less that 20dB loss but quite a steady slope down past 2K to around 60dB loss at 8K, so all the amplification is at higher frequencies. The occlusion I get however is not really tolerable. Coupled with the noise reduction capabilities of the Omnia and it often feels like Im just walking around with my fingers in my ears and worse when I speak. I tend to wear the dome deeper in my canal which alleviates some of the occlusion but this can become uncomfortable and sore. My audiologist would certainly prefer that I wear the dome a little looser and not so deep which can exacerbate the occlusion. I play acoustic guitar and record music whilst singing along so 'hearing' more of my natural voice would be better but I'm conscious of losing true harmonics with hearing aid set up. Have you experimented with a more open dome style to get a solution which lessens the occlusion to a more tolerable level but doesn't cause too much feedback? I know that the Resound TrueFit SW recommends the closed dome for my script but some venting must surely be possible. I don't want to move away from the M&RIE receiver either as its ability to help with identifying spacial queues and the direction a sound is coming from is really good. However Im told that as the mic is in the ear vented domes are a sure fire way to induce feedback.

Im about to get the new Omnia 9. I recently bought a new soundbar complete with Dolby Atmos. I have never had hearing aids before. With the 360 deg feature and the assessment of the soundscape what listening experience should I expect when wearing the Omnia 9 devices? Without hearing aids I found that turning up the centre speaker helped me to hear voices better and there is also a soundbar app which can adjust for better voice and speech sound. Im hoping that with the new Omnia 9 I will be able to listen to my Dolby Atmos system and hear the surround sound like I would without hearing aids, i.e. a fully immersive experience including directional sounds to match the action on screen.

Waterproof hearing aid BTE ?

I was going to get ReSound One 9 but after my appointment to pickup the hearing aid my audiologist told me that they were able to get me the latest hearing aids from ReSound which is the Omnia 9 rechargeable Bluetooth compatible hearing aids with the metal ear hooks. I also go the multi mic as well for it. He told me the ReSound smart 3D app should show my multi mic when it’s connected to my hearing aids and it did not. Do you know if the multi mic is supposed to show up in the app as well?

Omnia 5 has binaural directionality 3 not binaural directionality. ReSound One 5 has Binaural Directionality

And also, not only hear phone calls through my hearing aid but also speak through the hearing aid with no need to "talk" to the phone or use an external device.
