it truly is an amazing chassis
Very nice! Have a rig built on the same chassis. I'm going to install the fmm/tcase as I'm not happy with the od3 clone I have in it. Sure glad I found your build videos .

You mentioned in your other Video that you got ~$1500 worth of parts for $1000 - where/how did you get the parts on sale?
I bought them during a sale on aliexpress, the thing with Ailexpress is you can some times use more then one type of coupon or discount. i also have a business account that gives me 3% back on purchases over $130CAD and collecting coins which translate in to money also can be used for discounts along with store coupons and aliexpress coupons. i use the larger coupons such as "spend $740 and receive $110 off" and spend $1000 and receive $200 off as well as coin discount of $70 and buying multiple of the same item discounts. and then i start doing the same thing with the sale coupons worth a lesser amount untill i have used them all MAHAHAHAHA

Glad i found this build because im building a similar rig, same axles and chassis. Did you need a reverse gear in the front axles being used as a rear axle?

Yes it is pain in the butt to find what works on some builds
I like my chassis almost touching the axles if not touching but full droop so it still flexes but kills steeps sidehills! I want a FS chassis this looks like the Gspeed one.?

I have this insted of the v4 this is a fs with fs because of the lines on the mounts spots its a very good you need ther links for capra 2 bend
It will be interesting to see what happens on this build for sure. The FMM should be here next week. The axles and drive shafts arrived today.

Where did you get that body for your fireteam?
It's actually a proline body for the scx10 III jeep Gladiator. I added the roll bar from the Arrma Notorious. And then built a inner cab cage made out of old nylon parts trees and then shoe gooed it all in place.

Running them for 3 months no issues, and I have just ordered my 3rd set for my new 4ws build

That would depend on your setup. But it's a V4 GShot exact clone so, maybe I should buy the FFM set up that's available from AliExpress and do a Review. I will be doing a 4WS build using another chassis that's in the mail.

My stock Capra has be getting some love . I recently gave it 4ws a flat skid new tires and stretched high clearance links. It will be in another video soon
They are Zamak. And if you open them up you will find they may or may not be missing a couple of bearings. Some omit bearings because the hole for it was too tight.
I haven't ran into this issue one the sets I have bought. What bearings are missing?
The metal is also definitely aluminum not zamak. Perhaps the set you purchased aren't from the same seller 🤔

The chassis is a Rhino crawler Yue that has been modified
I took my servo off my baby Capra put a Velcro strap under it and put battery on servo…I say baby Capra it was now it’s in a wrcca mini chassis

i’ve been looking everywhere for the front Vanquish axle shafts for these axles and no luck. where did you find them? do you have a link?
Unfortunately the Vanquish Universals aren't sold separately, or weren't in stock when I checked , but I haven't had any issues with the stock ones after 4 months of abuse

Do all the axial factory replacement parts fit inside of these? Are the the same?
@@mrbrettdimarco the gears and axle stubs do ,but the drive shafts are off set so they don't . The store I bought them from also sells replacement parts for these axles

ok but are these parts worth getting, ive bent so many cheap off brand parts its becoming annoying that they even exist.
i have upgraded 3 Arrma now with these 7075 t6 aluminum and haven't had an issue yet, i wouldn't say that the parts are cheep as much as they are not way over priced. don't get me wrong but I'm pretty sure if you set out to break it, it will but its goin to take a lot more effort too.
This is the exact type of rocks I have but can’t decide between the axial Capra or the vanquish VRD stance any suggestions
Well they are 2 very different animals. But if you want a great truck get the VRD carbon and put your own choice of gear in it. RTR equipment is definitely not worth the money.
@@VIBCRC may I ask dif animals how so? And as far as the kit route I think a fusion brushless system some brass good set of tires would be a good starting point
Well for one the Capra is 4ws and is a caged chassis, where the VRD uses frame rails and I forward mounted motor and is A low center of gravity chassis or "LCG" I do have a few running videos of many of my LCG and Capra's. Maybe even check out my El Chopacapra build series I'm still doing. It's gotten real crazy now
