* Foot Position - staggered stance with the same leg forward as pulling arm
* Muscles Worked - back, bicep, core
2. Bear Fight
* Foot Position - wide athletic stance
* Muscle Worked - deltoids and Core
3. One-Arm Overhead Press
* Foot Position - staggered stance, forward leg opposite of pushing arm
* Muscle Worked - deltoids, triceps and core
4. Single-Leg Romanian Deadlift
* Muscles Worked - glute max, hamstring, core
5. One-Are-Row
* Foot Position - feet hip-width apart and parallel
* Muscles Worked - lats, low back, biceps

Ahh, the base of the food pyramid... Almost purely foods that by definition are highly processed, high carb and spike your blood sugar. Doctor recommended.
Bread?
Well yeah.. If I gave you domesticated (the easiest, and least natural) wheat plants, you would not be able to make flour, let alone bread from it without quite a process, that most people could only surmise, but gives me great respect for those that did it before the mill was invented... We can say the same about modern rice, barley, oats, definitely pasta, and cereals. I think the only one I can think of in that food group that isn't "highly processed" would be potatoes and yams.
I am somewhat thankful I live in Germany. At least we have high foodstandard for bread 😂

I have had 2 heart attacks and they put me on the highest dose of Rosuvastatin 40 mgs and now my fasted glucose is high and getting higher i warned my dr that i was worried about diabetes yet he does nothing so i stopped taking 2 months ago mind you my last event was in july of last year and surprisingly enough i think alot clearer now and am not struggling with my emotions like i was I am scared to take statins and my dr is so arrogant that all he does is draw me the same picture every time i am in his office i have no idea who to trust.
I know. It’s really confusing. Dr. Joel Kahn has a great book of non-statin based things you can do to help your heart. It’s called the whole heart solution. Maybe take a look and implement some of those strategies.

The Band Man!!!
I have no history of heart disease, my numbers are good, I work out regularly, I eat a low carb/no sugar diet, but I am 82 years old. My dr wants me on statins because of my risk factors. I asked what risk factors she was talking about. My sex and my age. What? At 82 I am at risk for dying in the next ten years but how the hell would a statin change that?

I have been using it for the last few months and really like the taste.
I agree, don’t get advice like this from the internet. The internet will make one afraid to take meds. I tried to treat my hypertension and cholesterol naturally and regret it. I take my medication daily now as prescribed 😊
And you know they are prolonging your life how exactly?
If statins are lowering blood markers like ApoB and oxidized LDL in individuals with confirmed heart disease would you bet on them not taking them…? It is the number one cause of death… and the first symptom for most with heart disease is DEATH by cardiac arrest… but if your so sure statins don’t help… make your case…
Really interesting video, personally I don’t have heart problems or family history for heart disease but I take 10mg Lipitor for prevention plus my diet is plant based. I tried everything in my power to prevent heart disease.

what did people that had a heart attack do, before there were statins, for precautionary purposes?
There are many things that reduce your risk of another heart attack that are not medication related. Would you like a future video on that?
@formandfitness2001 I think it would be relevant and if you don't mind, yes please. I've asked a few other folks the same question, and they all find it an interesting question but no one is stepping up to point to anything meaningful.. something else that I'm not seeing a whole lot of information on is the premise that the anti-inflammatory properties of statins is more important than the cholesterol lowering properties , given a patient that has heart disease . This might seem anti popular, but some of the cardiologists I've talked to are only concerned with the initial lipid panel after three to six months on a statin. After that time period and forward, they're only interested in you taking the drug because of its anti-inflammatory property.

I have a lot of thoughts on non-drug interventions for better heart health. I’ve been hesitant to share as I am a doctor of physical therapy not a cardiologist. I think I can figure out a way to share in an ethical fashion. I’ll put that video out in March😀👍
Appreciated this information! Even as a former cardiology nurse I learned something new from Dr. Lieberman. My PCP wanted me to start a statin, however reluctant to do this as I have seen so many patients have side effects. Had my primary care physician ordered other lab work, I may have been more receptive to starting a statin.
I have to go for heart ct scan after a couple of months... I have a family of pre mature CAD...

Nobody at my busy gym even touches kettlebells, but they seem awesome - especially coming from someone who hates back day.

Great Video !! One breath for One Rep.....Anotherwords, deep breathing thru your nose with your mouth shut can force you to have better form when wt. training..So important..Have some type of plan like in this video and don't look at how much wt.the person next to you is lifting are what I do..
I have been doing a " DEAD HANG " at your gym for 2 minutes,then a minute rest and then one more minute based on your video of that for a few months now several times a week.My back has never felt better and especially my posture seems better..Should I do these 3 stretches too? Great video too !!
