I have flipped 1 home but also been designing in the reside ntial sector for over a decade. We had a rule back when we were buying and selling businesses. Something always went cattywampus in the process, so when it happened, we recognized it, and then each person was allowed to say or yell a curse word at the volume of their choosing. Then we were back to positivity. It worked to relieve the stress and reset ourselves.

When you’re making more long distance investments and not plugged into the area, how are you finding high quality but also fair priced contractors/handymen to do your work and such large projects? I’m sure you can pay top dollar for “5 star” contractors from google, but I’m curious on your process. A lot contractors want cost of materials up front, but that would be scary if they said a project would take 4 weeks and then it took 8 or they ghosted you
