No regrets at all. If I had the extra cash when I bought this unit, I might have purchased the CabClone that has the attenuator built-in. Right now I mainly use mine for making demos. Being able to get great cab-like sounds and record silent is awesome!

Just got the same EMS kit. Question, where do you usually keep the volume on the humbucker? I found that anything over 7 or 8 is a bit mushy and my tone around six ish. Great playing bro.’

This is beyond perfect. It's almost indistinguishable from the real song (in a good way). I'm absolutely amazed at the tone. I'd argue the solo sounds even BETTER than the studio song because has a more atmospheric and eerie quality to it here. Incredible cover in every way!

I am trying to upgrade my pickguard on my strat! Is this still something that you like after some time?

@@minimumwade The neck and middle pickups can definitely do the clean strat sound. The neck pickup also sounds especially fat with a nice overdrive sound. I had this pickguard in that that guitar for about 2 years but I did end up taking it out. I just prefer the sound and dynamics of passive pickups over active pickups.

Is it possible to remove the electronics from the pickguard to put in a different color pickguard? In the photos I saw, it appeared that the board was somehow attached to the back of the pickguard so it couldn’t be removed
