talked to my recruiter going to the office soon to get ready, been thinking about AST. This video is going to help me if i decide to go for AST
This video is fantastic! The coast guard is lucky to have such a great swimmer.
Do CG enlisted personnel chip allot of paint when in port?
Oh yeah😊😊😊
So, as a white man. I can't get into this program, because why? So i just have to do it the hard way? No scolarships?

1:18 What an image! Great video! Semper Paratus!
Great testimonials for an awesome opportunity! Share the video if you agree!
Hey, I'm wondering if you can answer a question for me. Is asymptomatic Osgood-Schlatter disease allowed in the Coast Guard? Had it as a child, no mobility issues at all. Thanks for your help!
Wayyyyyyy too easy! Recruit me
No way this is the standard
Do I have to have a green card or be an American citizen?
No shit Sherlock

Going to boot camp on Nov 14 2023. Any advice?
hey bro how was it??
@@jerimiahlopez2640 it was how I expected. You gonna have to be mentally and physically prepared
👍👍👍👍
Looks like the postal service is delivering by sea now.
What is the ASVAB score required to become an aviation survival technician? Also, do you go straight from boot camp and then go to AST school?
If you look on the USCG website it will lay out the qualifiers and details there. You likely will not go straight to AST school out of bootcamp! Good luck!
This is so cool. I used to serve with Lindsey in the CG. We were both Fireman on the CG Cutter Munro. I believe he earned his DC3 on the boat. I left at the end of 2007 after being assigned to IT A-School. I even wrestled around with him a bit and he had me submitting within seconds most of the time. VERY cool dude. I also notice Ramos in the video too, also served with him. We were both in A-gang. Awesome to see he still plays the Ukulele. That was always cool when he would pull that out in the mess hall.
Oh please the coast guard is the same thing as the navy their both on water along with their training and they have the same ranks.
navy is department of defense, cg is homeland security
@@jerimiahlopez2640 But still the same training and ranks are same.
No. They do wildly different things.
Please do a video with the MSRT. Something like the qualifications, the recommended workouts, or just talk about how to get yourself into the MSRT without giving away anything classified or whatever of course. Thank you
Nice
If you want to do this y’all have better been on a swim team or water polo team 👊,cause we don’t play around
Question are you an AST?
@@Ancerti good question
Everyone saying it's embarrassing, but I am a young person and this recruited me lol
I’m 18 years old any advice on this, just had a thing at school and I got the business card
Do it
Weird
Targeted marketing much?
wewwww coasties w00t w00t
Embarrassing as usual.

You stole the logo from the USPS! 😂
will miss the more iconic racing stripe. i realize this is to reflect "modernization" however I think there may be better ways rather than a USPS logo
😂 the racing stripe is classic
Oh yea this will boost retention for sure
😂sarcasm!?
Great 👍 video Semper Paratus! 🇺🇸
I’m ready waiting for a date to ship out to Boot Camp I’m going for ME 🎉
Aye congrats I’m going ET shipping out in the summer after high school
@@cheifhad1260 nice man best of luck I will probably meet you at some point remember seaman Georgudis 🤣

@@cgeorgudis best of luck
@@cheifhad1260 probably not much people with our last names on the coast guard either lol
I have a question: How do you count the push-ups in the Coast Guard during boot camp? Is it 01, 02, 03, counting up to 40? or is it just *up, down*? or you count to 10 and then again always to 10? Just curious 😅
You don’t count you just do the pushups and sit ups. A CC or instructor will count them for you
Chest has to touch the block
Looks like a lot of desert their protecting.
rare coast guard L why do my tax dollars go towards programs that exclude my own race?
Dope vid
I miss my CG days. 20 years goes way too fast. Semper Paratus!
Water polo player love the water, will be a coast guard swimmer rescue no matter what 😎💯,Love my country
Is PA A school closed forever to enlisted??
Definitely not forever, but I wouldn’t wait out for it if you’re nonrate imo. I’d go another rate and if it does end up opening back up you can probably switch rates if you’re still interested. Plus you dont get stuck being a 3 year nonrate with shit pay and work like I’m doing right now while waiting.
@@dogsand8292wait it’s not for enlisted? Damn I wanted to do this job
Is Osgood-Schlatter disease allowed in the USCG? I had it in the 4th grade and now have a small bump on each knee but no other symptoms. Just curious, thanks!
I have it too, and nobody has been bothered. As long as it doesn't seriously impede your ability to do your job, you shound be fine. I recommend not telling your recruiter, though. If it becomes a ploblem, go to medical and pretend you don't know what the diagnosis is.
The Affaire des Fiches. Among the many other causes celebres, connected with the history of Freemasonry in recent times, the French "affaire des fiches" (Episode of the index-slips) is perhaps the best known: It brought to light the fact that the French Masonic lodges had organized an immense network of espionage by means of which the War Office, itself staffed by Freemasons, was enabled to make all promotions in the army dependent on the person's attitude towards Masonic principles and practice. Any officer who was known to cherish religious convictions, whose children were being educated in a Catholic school, or whose wife attended Mass, was made the subject of an index slip, drawn up by the local Masonic lodge and confidentially despatched to the War Office. These slips were collected into a register, nicknamed "Carthage". Any officer whose name figured in "Carthage" had no chance of promotion no matter what his military capacity or other merits might be. A similar type of pressure was in fact applied to civilians in every grade of the public service; and, as is well known, was not and is not confined to France. But the revelation of such a highly organized system in the French army was peculiarly sensational Book reference: Freemasonry And The Anti Christian Movement by Cahill.
How many SK A school classes per year? Is it a long wait to get in to that school?
sorry for the very late answer, but if you haven’t heard at all, it’s around a 3 month wait
After boot camp, can i go and study to be PS
A
So once I submit the application, and they want me to come in for an interview let’s say in Miami. But I live in Georgia, and I have no transportation. How would I get there and back home?
Why would you go all the way to Florida
They'd likely have you come in for an interview at your closet recruiter office
