whoever wrote the ugly duckling was a moron
Lot more women involved great to see
And here I thought they were going to shed their skins like caterpillars.
I love the lilting nature of the movements here-unhurried.
Awesome!!!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ bring May Pole Dancing
❤❤❤
This is the first time I’ve seen all female Morris dancers. Intriguing.
Check out their Vixana - The Dark Gathering
So you did'nt see the male dancer then?
Check also Boss Morris
Great mix of passion and history love it!!
Superbes danse et musique ! Bravo from France !
Morris women..
Der Tanz ist wunderbar und hat schöne Bewegungen. ..aber dieses Beltane Zeug ist eklig, das ist ein geistiger Dreck...Die Kostüme sehen aus wie aus Abfall gemacht. Pfui Deibel!
Funnnnnn😂🎉🎉🎉
According to Terry Pratchett there is a dark Morris dance. 😘
I've never seen anything like this before. I love it 😊
Me too. Love it. Tell us a little more about the history and meaning
I enjoy all cultural dancing, music and instruments. A little history about this dance would be insightful. Thank you for sharing.👍
Aargh, the memories. It brings a tear to my eye and a hand to cover the hole in my trousers. Does anyone else see the similarities in this festive hoppo-bumpo and Monty Python's 'Fish Dance' at the lock?
Love the witch dances
Makes me so proud of our culture. ❤❤❤❤❤
Che bella energia!!!
Ah that was jolly. Thanks Bunkfest.
Quarter staff practice?
Sorry, just can’t take to women trying to be Morrismen 😖
Interesting. I had never seen or even heard of this.
I love my country (at times), our heritage is so interesting, unique and far reaching. But that was a morris dance with a gothic twist, it was amazing.
Great to see British culture being kept alive. How long though before the WOKES, do-gooders and ethnic minorities complain that it is Satanic, Pagan or against their beliefs and we must not forget the offensive weapons that could be classed as baseball bats? You think I am kidding? Watch this space.
Need more hankies and jingly belly
This is something I want at my funeral. If I have to go out, I’m going out with style baby.
Love this!
Is this some sort of witchery?
Morris dancers predate the English. It was always men, traveling around to peruse the ladies.
Reminds me of ride a White swan
Großartig Vielen Dank
Wonderful❤️
Nice to see a little paganism still strong.!
Where are the pagan gods? Are you hearing voices and prayers? Take a pill.
I saw a Morris team of bikers dance many many years ago.Rather than sticks they used lengths of steel pipe. They were awesome.
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Very nice greetings from Poland
I loved this...this wass great, keep the spirit alive💪 greetings from the netherlands 😘🍀🇳🇱
Great, but Morris was originally for men, with no sticks, only hankies. Am I correct?
Why certainly and before that it was a large chunk of deer hide in one hand and an antler in the other. My goodness how things tend to evolve.
Morris dancing is both hankies and sticks, different dances with different traditions. I used to dance Cotswold Morris which funnily enough comes from the Cotswolds and Oxfordshire and is traditionally a male only dance. There is then border Morris and clog morris. The side I danced with back in the 1980’s was a member of the Morris Ring which kept the traditions going and was strictly a male tradition. The earliest known mention of the Morris is from the 1400’s so it’s been around for a very long time.
This one is absolutely fantastic !!! I would love to see those artists one day ! 😊 Thanks a lot for sharing.
Most excellent
Incredible
Quando venite a fare un concerto a Milano? Siete i benvenuti
Very cool ❤❤
That looks nice but what ist the background of this dance? Where did it came from? what does it means/express?
There's this thing called Google.
Nuts.❤
This is so good. Going to post to Twitter, I’m sure our American cousins will find it most unusual. 😁
As an American I already do 👍😀
Thank you for keeping our heritage going, love the music as well.
All girls? Aren’t the boys interested any more?
Must admit I'm not completely fond of regular Morris Dance. These guys are FUN!!!!!!! Love it!
