GoPro camera doesn't have a timer feature, but combining the other features it has we can create one. This is a proof of concept. If you search for it, this "800×480 LCD display" also available as a nice modul for Raspberry PI, it even have touch panel, too, also, the power and the touch data is done with one USB cable. I'm using one as a second display for my desktop PC since 2020 and works great, even with Windows! 😉

an easier way is just to connect the camera trigger to a switch and put the switch on the 3d printer
So that the printing head bumps into the switch and makes a shot? I didn't get it
@@DimaMaker Yes, I haven't tried it this way but I believe that you add some g-code to move the print head to a position to hit the switch upon every layer change, some slicers make it easy to add the necessary g-code.
