That Bill is a war bill, not a border bill, that is why the Republicans did not want to sign it. Funds Ukraine war, which should not be in a Border Bill. The bill should be about the border solely, nothing else. Dems won't sign a Bill without these other items included, because it is the only way they can sneak it through. It is not about keeping the fight going, it is about being responsible for the citizens of THIS COUNTRY!

We don't need a bill to enforce existing laws. Defend the damn border. CBP and military are there to secure our country...how does that NOT include our border????

It's not journalists so much as the formerly trusted news outlets: main stream media and publications. There is simply not a single one that isn't guilty of promoting misinformation or narrative or has exhibited the courage to report a balanced recitation of facts and allow readers to reach their own conclusions. Whether newspapers, periodicals, national, public or local tv and radio news channels, cable or their internet affiliates, the default position has to be skepticism and/or distrust. Yes, there is a fairly short list of specific journalists and pundits I have found to be trustworthy, there is no single legacy news outlet that measures up and I suspect none of them will regain that status in my lifetime.

Why should people place any trust in lying liars, prepared to utter falsehoods and silence the truth either for pay or their ideology? If other journalists want to reestablish trust in journalism, well they need to expunge the liars.
