As a Bronx hidden treasure, we passionately serve our Borough and the larger world, opening our portals unconditionally to all. Become part of who we are, through our cultural community offerings, beautiful music and powerful inspirational worship services.
Throughout the year we worship God, serving not only our own membership but also many others who are seeking God, truth or a spiritual center for themselves.
We think of our sacred space as a gift-something bequeathed to us by our forbears but a gift we know we are called to share with others. Our members and visitors come from the whole New York metropolitan area, from other parts of the country. All guests who present themselves are welcomed as Christ.

I went to the school here in the mid 1960's. Unfortunately I took a wrong turn in my life and got lost, nevertheless I just happened to come to this live stream service of the ''Holy Unction''; And I can honestly say upon hearing this kind, unpretentious and loving priest, I can't wait to come back to this Bronx Church where it all began for me. Back in the 1960's I was an alter boy there and I remember the priest Father John who I absolutely loved. Even though I left the school before the 8th grade for reasons I just can't remember; In retrospect, I have very fond memories of the teachers l had there in 1967, Mr. Hendrix, Mr. Archer and Ms Karefalakis. My greatest memory was being with my family in church at midnight and lighting our candles chanting Christos Anesti as we walked around the block, afterwards breaking our red eggs to see who's wouldn't crack. The principal of the school during that time l think were Ms. Panayatopoulos and later on Mr. Katsimadedis. May God bless this wonderful school and beautiful church.
