It all depends on what you are trying to do. This bike handles the hard enduro trails way better than my fully upgraded ultra bee. I love both bike just made for different purposes and the price difference is absolutely crazy!!

Unfortunately it will not, according to my testing. The factory charger has some communication wire that does not allow any aftermarket chargers. I’m sure it’s possible, but it’s just out of my expertise.

Congratulations on getting a ultra bee! Learning wheelies is an art and you are going to whip out but that is the best way to learn. Balance point is learned by feeling, is all about having the brake on a little bit until you need it. Then using gas and brake to keep it in balance point.

@@voltsgarage thanks man. I ride a gas husky on the weekends here in Florida at croom but been wanting to learn balance point wheelies for a lifetime. I could do staggered wheelies on my R1’s but this surron is sketch for some reason lol. You kill it though man thanks for replying. Any other advice lmk!

Thanks man! Yeah I ran the sumos for about a month on the stock power train. Worked amazing! Only upgraded due to the fact I ride with big street bikes and need to keep up. I got about 30 miles of range on stock power with those wheels

@@voltsgarage Nice, so you didn't notice any significant power loss over the stock wheels? Wheelies on those tires look like a dream, is that the 3.5" in the front? I saw you said 4.25" in the rear. 👍

@csheff15 there was some power loss but nothing crazy, I was still able to wheelie with ease. I went a 4.25 rear and 3.5 in front. If I was to do it again I would go a 3.5 rear and a 2.0 or 2.5 in the front

@@voltsgarage Yeah? Are the widths you have a little overkill for the bike size? you think 3.5"/2.5" would be the sweet spot?

@csheff15 yeah I think they are overkill. Don’t get me wrong I like them but I think the other sizes will be the sweat spot.

Thanks! That is a common discussion on the trials with the gas guys. I have tried a couple electric bikes with clutches and honestly I like it better without them. Tracking control works absolutely amazing on the Ultra for this type of stuff. I wasn’t using it during this video recording, but I have used it before and it isglorious.

I had my 16 custom made, I know milk racing has them and charged cycle works. I’m running a 120x100x16 shinko 525 cheater soft in the rear and a mx33 in the front on the stock rim. 90x100x19 size. The stuff in the video is easy compared to what we have available in Washington. You should come out with us sometime 😊

They are decent, I would upgrade if I was using this bike for off-road purposes only

@@voltsgarage I just upgrade my son's X to the fastace 2.0 w/ 60 pound spring and it's much better than stock. I'm wondering if the stock Ultra fork is at least equal to the upgraded Fastace 2.0 60lbs? I only ask because I'm considering purchasing an Ultra later this week. The only thing stopping me is not knowing what the stock fork is like, and how the overall performance is in its stock form compared to the X? Will it hang with some gas bikes on the fire-trails? Currently his stock x gets smoked. His cousin rides a KLX 230.

There is a version 2 KKE front fork for Ultrabee available that ditches the triple 24lb spring setup in favor of a single 26lb spring setup and has a revised hydraulic dampener. Version 3 is coming soon. V2 actually is pretty decent on trails much more consistent then OEM fork.

Yes you need a motorcycle license.

No matter what light weight emoto you get, for this kind of performance you will spend that money. Think the stark varg is the same price and maybe has a little more power but worse range.

@@voltsgarage all my bros where saying get a stark but like you said the range and the amount of maintenance there is flushes and etc and I almost bet later on after beating it to death the maintenance for brakes and rotors and wheels will cost you hundreds

I believe that a 19/17 vs a 19/16 is not going to have a huge difference in performance. I’m a chasing weight on this bike as well as performance. The 19/16 was the best option I could find.

I like 21/19 on a bigger bike. To big for the ultra in my opinion. The 19/16 makes it very playful!

I got the battery from Charged Cycle Works. I would recommend waiting for Darwin EV to come out with there ultra bee battery. It will be quite a bit smaller and fit way better in the stock lid.
