Many are no longer able to work or are simply not hired even being willing to. Every study on homelessness concludes that the single major cause of homelessness is a " lack of affordable housing ". Do you really believe hundreds of thousands of Americans older than 65 are druggies, that they no longer want to live in a home, inside safe and warm as they did lifelong?
