You should only use high build primer if some body works been done and you intend to sand after applying primer. If there’s no damage, you can thin out the primer to act as a primer surfacer.

If there’s no damage sand with 600 grit paper or red scotch brite till all panels have an even matte finish.

@@MIKESBUILDZ thank you for your reply. The problem I've ran into is the residue left behind from removing the factory decals. (Which for some reaaon seen to be the WORST I have ever come across. It's like they were super glued on!) should I use a more corse grit first, then work to 600, or just use a course grit then primer it to cover some of scratches from removing the glue?

@kforeal6809 there are solvents you can use to remove the residue. Like goo gone, lacquer thinner r acetone. However you should be careful using those. Sanding also works but you’ll gum up the sand paper quickly.

i couldnt tell you. probably best to get ahold of a service manual. ive work on several other bikes since this one. if you watch the full build video you might see what youre after

i think i showed that in the video. its on the right side of the vehicle. close to the frame rail.

@@MIKESBUILDZ Yes you did. However, on my car, I had to remove two screws, and slide the tray/ pan over to access my filter. It’s directly under my motor. But thanks, you gained a subscriber✊🏿.

probably best to get a service manual. i show most if not all of the hardware that has to be taken out to remove the front nose fairing. i work on a lot of bikes, cant tell you exactly what needs to be done on this one.

That’s good. I’ve had over 100 bikes on my lift and it’s been great. I find myself using the foot pump more than the air system because it’s currently kind of a hassle to connect an air like every time. Hope to have a dedicated air like for the lift in the future.

I use brake cleaner it’s safe and evaporates quickly. No issues with it contacting hoses.
