My name is Paul and this is my scale modelling channel, mainly covering tanks and aircraft and ships. I'm not a professional modeler this is just love my hobby so I will make mistakes along the way. And I’v just started another old interest which is classic cars and trucks.

This update covers the some of the clean up of the top hull pieces and the shells from removal to base colours added. They need the detail colours added which will be next. The bottom discs need to added. Going add a disc when spraying to get every in the centre of the screen.

Got a littler further in this update been spraying the base colour. it funny how when you look for evidence of interiors they are hard to confirm so I have a decision and have gone with it. If proven wrong, I may be able o sort ? Still that's modelling and have seen a lot of variations in this are by modellers. The turret is easy British drab lol

My slightly bigger dust cover came yesterday ' it's a a storage box' but perfect for my 1/16 scale builds. Today Ill be starting update 11. Tamiya LP 35 insignia white seems to be a good match for XF2 flat white well it worked for me lol. it will receive a satin coat later. Happy model...

Won't be to long before I'm back to spraying. I'll be using AK RC037 British Olive Drab version S.C.C15 got two jars so should be more than enough. Happy modelling.

TAKOM 1/16 M10 IIC ACHILLES BRITISH TANK DESTROYER D DAY UPDATE 7 Well moving along slowly, I made a little mistake in regards to the 3D transmission position, but it will not be noticed when viewing it. I also sprayed clear vanish on the seats out of shoot, annoyingly. I did break some three of the 3D parts but thankfully there were repaired easily. Next up will be the ruining gear/suspension....

TAKOM 1/16 M10 IIC ACHILLES BRITISH TANK DESTROYER D DAY UPDATE 6 Spraying with Tamiya XF-2 white and AK 3-Generation US Olive Drab special set acrylics. With the AK is a think paint so I ended up going 50/50 which worked. Will do a another test confirming later in the build.

It's not a Takom kit it's an Andy's HHQ . Takom did the tooling like they do for other companies

Hi bit late sorry. Cheers for this over view. Certainly not a cheap model My old man was also on Gold as an Abs on a LCA. Learned alot from him . From using the kedge anchor too having the armoured doors behind the ramp saved many lives from Teller mines. His had a stripped down Lewis rather than the Bren as most of those went to the Army.
