Honestly it's like the both the companies just Switched on how Netflix was supposed to be like how Disney looks like with realistic animals while Disney looks like what Netflix was supposed to be with semi realistic animals with a more emotional face 😂

Although I do kinda like the mowgli’s version of Shere Khan in that film and has a great line deliveries and his creepy moments, I do think the jungle book version has the most scariest version in my opinion! I do think The Jungle Book is a much better cgi story of the tale, although the Mowgli one had that story like the book tale, it was way too much darker for me, but the jungle book shows a much better beautiful but still dark story about the jungle, so yeah I feel like the jungle book is a much better tale and for the characters we know and love in that film

Don't get me wrong, the animals in Mowgli are ugly, but AT LEAST their faces have expressions and their voices sound like they give a shit

Jungle book bear sound is actually something that made my skin crawl. Simply because of how realistic it was. And don't ask. I don't want to speak of it.

They're very different but at the same time they're both very good in their own ways.

The animals in Mowgli may be uncanny and unsettling with their human faces, but that version tells a more heart-wrenching story closer to the original book that you don't get with the Disney versions. I like them both for different reasons!

Both were great. Kaa was better in Mowgli. Scarlett Johansson’s voice is just boring. Kate Blanchett’s voice is more interesting. Sher Khans voice is played well by both. Benedict Cumberbatch has kind of that Jeremy irons Scar feel to it.

You can make realistic CGI animals have good facial expression without giving them a disgusting mishmash of voice actor facial features next to live-action humans, just look at Aslam.

Ignoring Mowgli for a moment, How did Disney go from this to the dumpster fire that was Lion King? Their photo realistic animals in The Jungle Book still manage to be animated and expressive. Especially Baloo, you can read emotions on that bear's face as he talks. Meanwhile Lion King is just completely flat.
