The musical 'mukha' of this rather famous Pallavi is by one of my late and most renowned Gurus: Guru Deba Prasad Das, who taught me at home for 5 years. I learned his Kalavati Pallavi from him in 1971. My other gurus are Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra, who taught me for 12 years (also at home), and Guru Pankaj Das. Guru Debaprasad Das and Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra taught my elder sister at my grandfather's home in Cuttack when she was 5! As well, Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra taught my father's sister in Cuttack in the very early 1950s (about 1951). A nice effort by Jhelum.
