Oooh I absolutely loved The Crimson Moth and I’m scared to dive into hardcore fantasy! I’m completely with you being sensitive to sounds. I hate that I’m this way and wish I wasn’t. I am completely biased because "All the feels" is one of my favourite romances ever but as someone who is like objectively not conventionally attractive I don't think someone *thinking* and not saying that to a person that they only have one objectivelly pretty feature is not bad. If you're actually ugly there is no way around it, it just is that way. Attraction can build from an emotional connection and that is fine but I'm also asexual so I don't get the need to have a sexual attraction to have a romance with someone so idk. I love the series and especially this book so much because I finally felt represented as an "ugly", short, fat woman who is also in a relationship with an ADHD golden retriever boyfriend like Alex.

I started watching Anne Rices Mayfair Witches, and it sucked me in. I now want to read the books.

I still need to finish the last book in the Sleeping Giant books! Totally agree that the audio is the way to go!

I remember eating up Sherrilyn Kenyon's books in high school -mostly because the humor was always sarcastic as hell and I loved it. The MMC's do start feeling like the same person though by like book 6.

I love the Darkhunter Series. They get into dark topics as they go. Some of the MC stories are heartbreaking!!!! Styxxx made me cry like the whole book. I have read all of her books!!!!

It had some positive aspects, like me looking for actual canon queer characters and relationships and supporting those stories. Now I couldn't care less about what is 'canon', what is canon is what I like in a story, the end.

I was suuuuuper into Sherrilyn Kenyon from my senior year of high school until my mid-20s. They are very much fast food fiction. An easy to digest romance. I even met Sherrilyn and she was lovely (this was in 2012). I hope you enjoy them

Once a fan fic is removed from the community it originated for as well as the surrounding texts (that is, published under different names), it is no use in trying to 'decode' the book. Especially if you have no interest in the culture of fan fiction.

I think people like powerless if they haven’t read Red Queen, the young elites series, and haven’t gone to deep into the hunger games 🤦‍♀️

I love your shelve it or scrap it videos. My idea is read a decent amount of the book and if you still don’t like it, don’t continue. But if you’re enjoying the book a lot then continue reading. You could also read the 1st chapter of the books or the 1st sentence of the books. Just a suggestion.

The J. Bree reverse harem won't be for you I don't think. I read the series, it's not fantasy heavy. It does centre around her relationships with the men. The smutty scenes aren't a big thing in the first one though.
