some 40yrs ago I started by taking the early 1970's punk rock approach, and just sang in any various number of keys regardless of what everyone else was playing

When recording vocals for my songs I just do like 4 tracks of the same vocal so if I'm flat or sharp on a note I can just use volume automation on the tracks to fix it. On key track goes up 10db off key goes down 10db to mask the problem. I can always fix my pitch and range issues in live singing with just more regular practice.

Yup my range is closing in and I can’t go up in range without having this closing affect. The fluidity in my voice is kinda weak. I get hoarse easily when talking.

I often am little confused in the difference between fatigue and damage. But yeah nothing hurts in the larynx or neck so that’s good I think?
