Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant opened in 2005 in Orland Park, a south suburb of Chicago. The concept was unique. We would create a signature menu with a selection of dishes designed to pair perfectly with our own Cooper’s Hawk wines, made in our own private winery. With sophisticated food and exceptional wines, our concept was born.
The Cooper’s Hawk concept includes four distinct components: an upscale casual dining restaurant, full-service bar, private barrel-aging room, and Napa-style tasting room and retail gift store…all under one roof. Each Cooper’s Hawk location is distinctive in layout and décor, but carries the same warmth and elegance that guests have come to expect.

Cooper's Hawk Passion Fruit Wine
IN THE BOTTLE
Intense aromas of passion fruit, grapefruit, lemon, and white flowers. Although the wine is sweet, the bright acidity ensures that the finish is refreshing.
CLASSIC FLAVOR PROFILES OF VARIETAL
Passion fruit tastes like a cross between peach, mango, and pineapple. It is both sweet and tart, with a strong aroma, making it a staple for pastry chefs who want desserts with an exotic touch.
VARIETAL FACTS
Passion fruit comes from the fruit of a vine called passion flower, which is native to the tropical forests of southern Brazil, Paraguay, and northern Argentina. The passion flower was named by Brazilian missionaries in the 1700s who called it "the flower of the five wounds" to illustrate the crucifixion.
HISTORY
Passion fruit can come in yellow or purple varieties, and the aromatic fruit inside consists of around 250 seeds contained within a juicy pulp, which yields a small amount of very fragrant juice. Because of this, we blend it with tangerine and apple juice to yield enough juice to make our wine.

Why aren’t the tasting notes and newsletter in the Cooper’s Hawk app anymore? I was just forced to upgrade my app before I could use it. The new app provides barely any information about your wines. I want to reread about wines I’ve already purchased and am now just drinking.

I’ve worked for Cooper’s Hawk it’s an amazing place to work for you can tell they put a lot dedication so customers can have the best experience in their restaurants.
as a former wine tasting bar tender, in training this philosophy made us proud to be serving Coopers Hawk wine. But. They will hire anyone and think that their week long training class makes good employees. As an older adult, I had a lot of members that wanted me, but if I went on at 5 and a young hungry dude was there at 4:30, he would move my customers waiting for me to his section. There needs to be more training on how to be courteous to your teammates.
Literally the best sangria and just as tasty visually!
Ingredients: 1.5 Elderflower Liqueur 6 mint leaves 1 lime wedge 4 oz Bubbly Rosé 2 oz club soda Directions: Combine all ingredients in a large wine glass over ice and stir. Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint and enjoy this light, low-alcohol refresher!

I had a taste of this wine on Tuesday, March 5th and found it to be somewhat bland, but the frizz was there. I was hoping to taste the mango flavor which I would have loved, and was unpleasantly disappointed by not noticing even a hint. What did you guys think!?! (BTW, I did have a glass of the 2024 Barrel Reserve and it was fantastic! So, I’m looking forward to next month’s pickup for it.)

When I was a wine tasting attendant at a Fl location, the public loved all the Camille wines, they wanted a 4 pack of them for Christmas gifts. Probably for their stash as well ❤
I hope Cooper’s Hawk is planning more trips to Spain! Many years ago, I had the wonderful opportunity to visit several of Spain’s winemaking areas: Penedés, Cariñena, Borja, Rioja, and Bierzo, and have enjoyed seeking out Spanish wines since. I recall visiting Montserrat featured in your video, and having a delicious “vino de la casa” from Manresa at a restaurant adjacent to the monastery. What a view! I picked up a couple of these, tried one in 2020, and knew it was special. I just opened #2; it was still as good as ever, and could likely have been kept 5 years longer? It’s one of the best CH has produced! I hope they will continue to pursue that quality in blends.
I found a box of these chairs in my grt grandmother’s things and so happy I saved. Some of hers are older french champagne, I think I will make one from my NYE stash. Ty
