I came by your work through the song Djiu De Galinha composed by your father . I first heard it on Mam Miriam Makeba's Welela Album. Years later I read about the composer, Jose Carlos Schwatz in her biography. A bit of googling brought me to the CZcams documentary...and what a man! An intellectual, a revolutionary, an apologetically African, an African hero. It's wonderful to see his legacy live on through you. Thank you for the wonderful work; your beautiful offerings, and for sustaining his breathe for us who love him just a little bit longer. I try as mush as I can to keep his legacy alive while being true to myself....It is not always easy...but after reading messages like yours I understand that i'm doing a pretty good job. He left us a treasure that we have to keep safe and his name has to live on through all that we do, write, sing and say. Thank you for reminding me that all that has been done and is still being done has not been in vain. See you in London 😉
