OH, thank you for the follow up look around and I don't know what to do about the corn. Mine are all gone. OH, there might be an error or two left out there. But I think I found out what the problem is. Kitty Kitty disappeared a few months ago. So there hasn't been a resident cat in the vegetable garden to keep the rats under control. And let me tell you they are out of control.

You are right about gardening being a workout. I don't know it I can come up with 5 things that I like about the kind of gardening that I have been doing. It has been a long time since I tried to grow food. The work that I do in my flower garden makes my wife happy. I like the way it looks after I have put in a little work also

I sure wish that I could grow succulents here but I don't have a year round greenhouse that they would have to be overwintered in.
