As kids, we learn to look left and right before crossing the road. Yet as adults, we forget this simple safety lesson which could save our life. Even if you're very familiar with your daily commute, it’s important to stay alert especially when you’re crossing a busy road, tram tracks or rail crossing. Can you please look into the Cranbourne train timetable? Every. Single. Train. I catch every morning (could be the 6:59, 9:09 towards city etc...) Is always. Late. I hope metro realise Cranbourne going towards city have to wait for the one from city to get to cranbourne and it disrupts everyones time when commuting to work and end up missing another connecting train. I'm not sure if/why metro haven't seem to look into the "new timetable" for Cranbourne? On construction for a double line at Cranbourne shouldn't be an excuse to always have train being late from 5 to 20 mins onwards and worst case scenario having to be forced to go directly to flinders instead of the cityloop. Thanks

    Are you kidding me, so you want me to take off my backpack so you can cram even more people in the already overcrowded trams and trains! How about trying to become model public transport company first and maybe not dropping random trams and trains. Just in the last 2 weeks it happened to me 5 times that my train or tram just didn't show and then off course, when the next one arives, it already is way too full.

    • @C4Chaos42
      @C4Chaos42 Před 9 lety

      +Thijs Baarda The core of the problem is the atrocious infrastructure that Victoria has. There are way too many transport bottlenecks for trains, too little capacity (Sydney has double deck trains ffs), no redundant signalling (failover while prime is worked on causing no disruptions) and a low frequency in train timetables during peeks due to previously mentioned bottlenecks. This whole Model Commuter campaign just adds insult to injury, the commuter has to squeeze into trains like a pack of sardines, old ladies unable to get to a seat because there is literally no room to maneuver. Stop wasting our tax money on these useless campaigns and put them where they're needed, on our damn infrastructure.

    Support the overall idea and wish more people would do it, but the video is so obviously fake. When you stand up on a bus, you hold on for dear life or risk getting thrown out the window by lateral forces! Also doesn't help that the background out the window doesn't change as the passengers do.

    I fid it very stupid that metro took out the metcard. It had a good system, the myki you have to pay more for something that we are using less. We could pay only $4.50 and it was that simple to get a metcard, now we have to pay hundreds of dollars, and for what? To put more money onto it. Bring back metcard metro.
