Last Summer - Movie Review
My thoughts on Last Summer: the latest controversial work from French provocateur Catherine Breillat. A sun-soaked film about a forbidden attraction, marked with an emotional incisiveness only Breillat could pull off. Janus Films will release the film in theatres on June 28.

I’d say Rohrwacher draws heavily from Fellini, particularly his stuff like La Strada and Roma. But the broader stylings ooze with Pasolini (w/ his film Accatone) and Rossellini influence.
