Brake Pad Inspection Using the Colored Gauges
Just FYI the stem is the entire assembly which sometimes includes a TPMS sensor, older cars might not be equipped with them. The valve core is the tiny piece that sits in the stem that ensures the air stays in the tire. The tool used to remove the core is called a Valve Core Remover, or VCR. Im a tire mechanic so I know what i’m talking about
I’m completely useless at tyre fitting 😓😓I’ll never be good at it.
Hello
I am 17 as of a week ago, my dad told me to look up online how to use the tire machine I searched it up and found this video 7 years ago an it taught me almost everything I know about replacing tires. And after all these years I didn’t know what that knob on the side did until now.
Thank you so much bro
Would you be able to do a video tear down on a 2017 Honda civic 1.5l engine?
3:47 And that's how the face of my mint factory wheel got scratched up at the tire shop.
nice vid
Why are you not grabbing the rim from the inside? Lmfao you can very easily ruin a tire doing it like that. Thise jaws catch the tire and put a whole in the side wall. SMH with this bad info being put out!
If you only break the bead on 2 spots on the back it will still be stuck half of them time. I break all 4 sides on the rear but I do the TPMS side last and just barely let it push in, never had a problem and I don't have to fight with it after I get the top bead off.
Okay, I gat it. Thanks🙏♥️
you told me wanted I needed to know to put my mind at ease...thanks so much
Is it best to leave these machines hooked to air pressure overnight, or best to bleed off the pressure, or does it matter? Thanks.
Yk I usually don’t have trouble taking the tire off or putting the first bead on the rim on its always the second bead i get stuck on🤦🏽♂️
I use the manual machine I don't know anything about this one
Is there a way to do it without taking the wheel off?
Сколько лишних движений к чему они америкосы с таким станком показывали бы большой радиус и низко профильную резину
Inaccurate. 1st of all it’s a steel rim so it’s gonna take about 2 extra tries to get that godamn bead to pop, 2nd clamping it from the inside on a normal rim already damages it but on steel it risks the rim flying off.
Nice video.
Nice clear shots of the process. Thanks
Watch this to inform myself how it works cause tire shops are crooks, girlfriend had nail in perfectly good tire, tire shop told her it’s too deep & she needs new one lol
Here is a revised version. 1. Turn the vehicle ignition to ON or ACC. 2. Enable the Child Check-Mate system by activating the abmer lights, then open the doors. You should hear pulsing beeps. 3. After you finished your trip, turn the ignition off and on. Wait for 3 beeps. This means to press the RVT (Rear Vehicle Transmitter) aka, the deactivation button. Wait for beeps to let you know the system is deactivated.
Amazing and very informative video! Thx
Reminder to replace your battery bro
Wow this instructor must be the person in the office 😮 he explane it with very little detail
Is there no concern of bending the duck beak? Not being a smart ass I just started working at a shop and actually wondering
Very informative. I have one question though. When putting the tire back on, you mention the position of the TPMS. But I can't help noticing that you can actually put it further anti-clockwise and the tire will already be down under the TPMS. This way the tire will never "fall" down over the TPMS as the tire is already down from the first initial loose set.
Excellent video, very detailed,thank you
I have a question. Do you have to remove the hub centric rings when getting the wheel balance or with it on? I was told to remove it & when there done balancing the wheels put back the hub centric rings.
very good video, thanks
Love the video. Love your teaching ability. Thank you. I will always remember the duck!
High school dismount and mounting test
Day 2. This mounting thing is gettin me
He knows what he's doing he's just not very good at explaining accurately what he's doing throughout the whole entire video the valve stem was never removed just the Schrader valve I know he's calling the valve core a valve stem 🤔🧐🤨😂
God forbid there was a TPMS sensor on there on remounting the tire you would have snapped that bitch right the fuck off yeah that's what you want to do show people how to mount a tire in a way that you would break the sensor off😮
Yeah that tools actually called the valve core remover more technically correct Schrader valve screwdriver and you did not remove the valve stem you removed the Schrader valve get your shit together man must be another discount employee😂
This was extremely helpful!!! I'm just getting started working in a tire shop and I noticed when practicing on the throw away tires and rims how my crowbar kept hitting the rim. The rag is so simple but will help a ton!
Good Vid. Thanks!
Did you see dude smack the wheel with the tire iron? Lol nope not letting this guy touch nice wheels
Thanks. I havent touched a tire machine since 2018, starting my first day at tire kingdom tomorrow. Needed a little refresh video so i dont look like an idiot on my first day
That’s not how it works.
I have an exam today on this, so I'm glad about this.
Hell yeah brother
I just wanna touch up my memory so I don’t f up someone rims 😭
How to fit a bigger tyre than this one
What happens if the battery fails while your welding, will you burn your retina's? ..lol
8:37 when he says “I’m gonna lift up on this” I didn’t see him lift on anything so I’m assuming he pulled up on the bottom of the tire to get it on the rim fully??
Hey don’t forget to change the batteries soon!
My girlfriend’s dad abandoned a whole tire shop at her ranch and I needa fix my tire so here I am haha why go to a professional when I got everything here
