Tarek Ali is well-known for his activism & positivity that encourages self-acceptance and growth. Even before he started making CZcams videos, Tarek was doing this work offline, having started an LGBTQ non-profit with over a dozen chapters across the country & working as an advocate for human rights at the age of 16. In addition to his activism, Tarek obtained a degree in Biology from Georgia State University, interned at Howard University and Columbia University Dental Clinics, and did research at NIH for several years. Though he did not continue in healthcare, Tarek considers himself a scientist in pursuit of everyone’s well-being & growth that uses his platform to encourage the emotional, mental, & overall growth of every viewer. His video messages are intended to encourage people to be comfortable with themselves and embrace their experiences despite what society or people may think.

#ITboyTutorial 4: Loving After Heartbreak - I’m usually very private about my love life but these words felt trapped inside of me and was causing a blockage to my creativity, sexuality, and feeling of security (Root & Sacral Chakras). After giving myself time to feel, I turned to my creativity to try to express these emotions and this is what came of it. I didn’t plan it or write an outline, I just sat down at my desktop and this came out. The greatest reminder of how my creativity depends on the healing of self, and others. My art and work will always be to heal. I hope this message heals you, in the same way it healed me. Don’t let the fear win, you deserve love!
