SynBio4Flav -Providing a path for the standardized production of flavonoids
Project summary video
synbio4flav.eu/
Using synthetic biology, SynBio4Flav paved the way towards a cost-effective alternative to traditional flavonoid production. The project delivered a revolutionary approach to flavonoid biosynthesis using microbial communities to power the process.
The intricate bundle of biochemical reactions involved in flavonoid production was split into its basic steps and each step assigend to a specialist microbial species in a process known as distributed catalysis.
Breaking down complex biosynthetic pathways into standardized parts and transferring them to microbial producers introduces the flexibility and robustness of a modular system. Importantly, it also supports a virtually infinite number of variations by recombining bio-modules in a plug-and-play manner.
SynBio4Flav’s groundbreaking approach has great potential beyond the production of flavonoids. In fact, the project’s ultimate goal was to deliver a paradigm shift in biotechnological manufacturing of complex natural chemicals of all sorts.
This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Programme under Grant Agreement no 814650.

I don’t want genetically modified foodstuffs or synthetic flavonoids.
This Spanish bioengineering company wants to genetically engineer synthetic flavonoids, but does the public want them? I want to get my flavours by eating real fruit and vegetables.
I want flavonoids from real fruit and vegetables not synthetic flavonoids.
I'm putting this in my Presentation 🙂👍
Muchas gracias

a ripoff SARS came back for round 2 we need the vaccine again
... the coronavirus been out this days 5 years ago wtf
Coronaviruses have been around for a long time.
Yeah, get yourself educated. You seem like a ghetto head.
felicitaciones!
16 years. Still no vaccine/cure. Then SARS-COV2 COMES MORE POWERFUL.
420 JuanP so ccovid vacine is not available forever
@@gunawangsa2359 im not saying that. What im saying is pray God we will. Pray god we will
ironic huh? 36 years and no vaccine for HIV, SARS, MERS, and under 1 years rona Vax came to save us all you bet
Is covid 19 a phage?
hey man How come you published this video 4 years ago. There no such thing as corona back then.
Coronaviruses are a family of many viruses which cause respiratory infections in bats, pangolins, humans and other animals. There many species of Coronavirus. But only 7 of them infect humans: HCoV-HKU1 (Common cold) HCoV-229E (Common cold) HCoV-NL63 (Common cold) HCoV-OC43 (Common cold) SARS-CoV-1 (SARS) SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) MERS-CoV (Middle East Respiratory Syndrome)
You are saying that coronaviruses are family of many viruses, and on the other hand you are also arguing that "Only 7 of them infect humans". If I posted this comment 8 months before than you must be saying that only 6 of them infect humans, Right? Is there any current research work stating that only 7 among that family will infect humans not 8 or 9 or.......
I said the same
And the media is acting like Coronavirus is a completely new virus.
this is a planned virus they planned it 5 years ago
We need this vaccine now
Ja, inutil
WHAT THE FUCK ARE YALL DOING HERE? THIS VIDEOS FROM 5 YEARS AGO, ONLY THIS YEARS COMMENTS HERE? PRETTY FUCKING STRANGE
Gates coronavirus patent 10130701.
I fucking hate the people during January saying that is no big deal well bitch look at us now
This is what the Spanish government should have done tested before the pandemic then modify it to fight SARS COV-2 COVID-19 or have the vaccine ready to fight of covid 19 B & C strain
Vamos Enjuanes , sácanos de esto
My doctor said there isn’t a regular SARS vaccine? I don’t see the harm. Thoughts? I read they did one back then?
The SARS Vaccine was made but it failed. I believe the results were similar to the virus itself so they abandoned it
they were never able to make a SARS vaccine, and it's been more than 16 years since
I thinks can we use Sars vaccine today (covid19) because it just same Virus.. Corona virus it's not new to us.. It's happened before..
Aliza Masagca it's already mutated and it might not get cure easily
I think*
You can't. It is just from the same family of viruses. The antigens on the outside are completely unique.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Because it’s a similar type of virus, will this work on the COVID-19 virus?
Probably not. From what I remember, vaccines rely on the lock and key model in which antibodies bind to antigens (the surface protein of a pathogen). Even a minimal mutation would mean it wouldn’t work since the lock and key model requires exact fit. Also I think this video is talking about the SARS 1 virus from 2000? They still haven’t made a successful vaccine from that one.
