I have an aftermarket Boss cd/dvd player in my 2012 Silverado Crew Cab LT. The button to turn on bluetooth doesnt turn on bluetooth due to it being aftermarket. Here's how it worked for me. Make sure power is on to the unit. Go to the bluetooth streaming of your stereo. Then go to the bluetooth setting on your phone and turn on bluetooth and then refresh the bluetooth devices. Mine showed up as Boss. Select that and a message will pop up saying enter radio pin. It said 0000 or 1234. The 1234 didnt work so I tried 0000 and it connected my phone to the radio and I started playing pandora through it. The Boss BV9695B Widescreen Touchscreen is the model of Boss Touchscreen DVD player I have installed. Pretty nice setup.

I am able to setup phone / dial out but inside I only hear crackling noise instead of phone ringing crackling instead of someones voice, why? Can someone help me? My wife is able to hear me fine though but I cannot hear her.

My phonebook will not come up. I have just got a new Bluetooth module put in my 2012 camaro SS and a Samsung Galaxy fe 20. I paired phone and works but says phonebook not available. And yes when I paired it it said sync contacts and I clicked yes, but still nothing. This is the 2nd bluetooth module chevy put in cause the first one went out after one year. And I had to jump thru hoops to have them cover it and put new one in free of charge. Any idea why phonebook would be unavailable?

Omg i had my camaro almost 6 yrs and i only was able to sync calls to the car .. never knew how to sync the music… omg thank you sirrrrrr I just upgraded to a iphone xr from a iphone 6s.. the XR does not sync with usb like the 6s.. it only charges on usb sooo thank you soo much ❤️❤️❤️
