i have a 2012 mazda 2 and the P0101 code says on the Orielly's scan they did says on a p0101 code "camshaft position sensor malfunction" so is that correct? or is my MAF sensor?

As a fellow Scottsman, I feel your pain... literally! My 2004 Vick LX needs the actualtor replaced! But being a Frugal Scotsman, I've got the actuator pried up and a wedge to hold the door closed for A/C and in the winter months I'll flip it to Heat :) And I'm left handed so this job really Suchs!

I own a 1970 Chevelle SS with a 4spd. It is equipped with a reverse lockout .The lockout rod on the steering column was replaced with a piece of allthread when l bought the car. It was bent and didn't work worth a dog so l disconnected it and operate the reverse lights by turning the steering column switch by hand. As long as l remember to turn the switch it works fine.

You're right, after go’ogling around I didn't realize that Simmy Krotiel's Bigger Blueprint was updated and you can make it bigger even faster, yep, what Simmy suggested before was pretty good, but now it can grow up to 4 ins, I managed 3 ins myself and I feel like a monster lol

You need to replace the caliper because once it locks up even if you free it up It will lock up again and again.

I bought an oil/fluid/diesel pump to get rid of too much engine oil. What happened, i noticed the overfill by checking the engine oil dipstick of my car. I drove for 28 years with cars with an exact engine oil level, so it was shocking to notice an official recognized brand dealership did make an oil changing mistake. Who did this??? So to keep my angel running with the perfect engine oil level, i pump out the overkill of oil and level it right. I was lucky i could use the oil dipstick entrance, so i do not have to empty the full oil tank to refill it later on with expensive new fully synthetic engine oil. After measuring the engine oil level, i see a perfect level between minimum and maximum. It is necessary to level it right, because it is an extreme high quality engine that loose no oil at all, so burning an overfill of engine oil is no option. The black oil when the change oil is normal. Sure, at the dipstick side it looks fresh. Some smudge can be at the bottom of an oil pan, but only very old cars and cars that parked for years without driving. Smudge can be removed, but ask a professional for more information. How i did pump out the overload of engine oil? I ran my car for 10 minutes to get the engine oil at some 60 degrees Celcius. This to make the engine oil more fluid. Connect the pump to 12v battery, put it on and here the oil comes and stream to an oil reservoir. I pumped 75 cl out. That was a bit too much, so i put 25 cl back, check and yeah, it is just spot on! Conclusion, they put a half a liter too much engine oil in it. That is at the maximum that is allowed, no engine damages, albeit it is better to do it the right way.
