What is Evaporative Cooling and How Does it Work?
zhlédnutí 32KPřed rokem
Ducted evaporative cooling is an effective way to cool your home in the hot and dry climate of Adelaide. This type of cooling system relies on a simple yet effective process to provide your home with cool, refreshing air. First, warm outside air is drawn into the evaporative cooler by a fan. As it passes through wet filter pads, the air causes the water to evaporate. This process expels any hot...

Why ducting is important in your air conditioner
zhlédnutí 610Před 3 lety
Ducting is important in your air conditioner because it prevents air contamination. It's job is to filter exterior air as filtering removes dust, dirt, pollen, and other air contaminants so that you will have a healthy and comfortable atmosphere. If the air ducts are leaking, then these contaminants are also leaking into your house. Ductwork channels conditioned air to vents, takes return air b...

This video was very informative and helpful, the gentlemen in the video was very knowledgeable and seems like a real go getter and a hunk of spunk!
Evaporative cooling works better with dry places which tend to have water restrictions; perhaps this can be paired with water harvesting/ collecting technologies
Evaporative cooling is not effective to lower the ambient temperature in a humid climate.
its Australia mate 😂
My breezair EXH-210G used to really quite, but recently a bit noisey while on auto max mode, do you have any idea of it? Thanks
Great video guys…. Nice to see parts of my video in it 😄
Might be a silly question but where does it draw water from?
From your water mains I'm pretty sure
I thought tropical countries only uses that❤?
She is such a Karen
Evaporative coolers consumes far less energy
You have much better air with ac unit, especially In pollen season, and forests fire season, dust season, and you are forever opening and closing windows
Doesn't the filter take care of dust and pollen issues?
@@peaceforhumans5 the celdek pads aren't really a filter. They will remove some dust and pollen but not all of it. In fan only mode they don't remove much.
@@tomtom1541 Thank you for the information.
Yes but they use a ton of water, is that good for environment?
yes but not electricity that so much more expensive than water.
Sorry I'm an air conditioning person. Evaporative cooling is crap
Good video BUT.... yes it uses less electricity but huge amounts of water so you will end up paying anyway !!!!!!!!!

this sucks
this is hands down the worst video ive ever watched
Hi! Can you tell me at what speed the gas are traveling inside the tubes system? THX!
Is it going to work in America? You are showing units that design for Australia.
In the dry parts, like Arizona, California etc.
Reverse cycle air conditioning can work in the U.K. so most of the U.S. will be fine. Don't know how they do below -5C.
The channel is called Gas Works.... Which option do you think they think is the best option. lol What a horrible video!
So which one is the best?
It is just unfathomable how many youtube videos advocate "unvented" gas heaters. To me that's like advocating suicide
Ad pushing VENTED gas heaters! Personal experience: I've used multiple ventless gas heaters over the years and NEVER had a bad experience. I almost lost my life due to a vented gas heater catching the wall on fire one night. (The smoke detector never went off and my dog woke me.) I will NEVER, EVER trust a vented gas heater!
Light bulb? No way in hell. Also if the air outside it hot ... which is why you use it to begin with, how would cold air come in? Evaporative is useless and our house is always bloody humid and wet even with all windows and doors open.
The evaporation system cools the hot air coming in, but only if the hot air outside is not humid, and even then, not as well as an air conditioner.
Can you stop?
I made it with inplix handbooks !
not a 5 watt light bulb lol
What a load of crap, evaps are terrible when it is remotely humid anywhere, not just the top end. I have never felt cool in the 3 houses i have lived in with evaporative air conditioning.
these are different though, much higher tech and efficiency
These Breeze airs, r different x they were tested in australia
@@910iva if you look on the breeze air website it actually says you can't use it in a humid climate, eg NT or QLD. I have one of these in Perth and it works alright most of the time, but we have mini splits as well which always work better.
@@tomtom1541 mine works well still
Gas heating isn't just about the size, the design or the heat capacity, but also the amount of cash one can invest in the system. If you put every aspect in place, quality and price should be proportionate with each other. This is appropriately true for ducted gas heating goo.gl/AZrCzg where you are not just ensured with efficiency but your money's worth as well. To top it all off, it uses a coal burning method, which is far more safe than electric-controlled systems.
When choosing a ducted gas heating system, quality and reliability are two of the basic qualities to look for. When it comes to price, you are sure to pay for a worthwhile home improvement. As explained in this video goo.gl/AZrCzg, you will definitely benefit from a system that last a long period. To top that, it is efficient enough by heating only the places that need to be warm. This means the system is used to its full benefit, avoiding wasted energy.
Hi Karen! This is such a comprehensive reporting on evaporative cooling. I like the part where you said the cost of running an evaporative cooler is about the same as running a light bulb. I think that line will put end to the many doubts of finally trying an evaporative cooler at home. Thanks for posting! I also created a short video about evaporative cooling. Hope you can check it out. (goo.gl/pkC9ZE)
It costs much more than that. These use 60 to 200 Watts. Be to honest air conditioning is more efficient
