Always saw it rundown and a bit scary. One time me and my gf was there at night idk why but saw it differently. It was beautiful with a sprinkle of crackheads here and there ❤

Canterbury is the gift that keeps on giving (fun facts-wise, anyway). The West Gate is such an amazing structure, one of the largest and most impressive medieval gatehouses in England, I'm sure!

I love Canterbury's medieval history. Amazing to imagine those ancient pilgrims making the journey. The city is iconic after The Canterbury Tales!

Some great facts here. I'm a big fan of Caravan and Prog Rock, so I like the Canterbury Scene, even if some of the bands might consider themselves more London-based!
