Myself I also went into the automotive field. For me I spent more time in the imported auto industry. You can name nearly anything from a to z and at some point I have worked on it. I even worked for a Ferrari/Porsche dealer a couple of times.

I was going to say highly, but subtly, modified Buick. But, everyone else is saying Chevelle, Impala, or Malibu, which is reasonable. They probably know better than I. Either way, it's clearly GM. And, outside of the convertible roof setup, this looks like it could be a concept car from the late 50's, to show what the mid-60's could bring, stylistically. The branding is cool; along with the patent number, it's almost like someone was trying to start a small car company, along the lines of Stutz (Bearcat or Blackhawk ), Excalibur (Phaeton or SS) , or Dunham Coach (Caballista or Corvorado). Perhaps they got a prototype built, complete with custom molded emblems and hood ornamentation, but failed to find investors, so they cut their losses, sold the car, and moved on. The only thing, really, that keeps this from looking like a pristine example of the 60's, is the modern, low profile tires. Period correct white walls, with period correct rim sizing (staying with the chrome spokes, obviously)would really set this car off, and make it look super sexy. Oh, and a chrome bezel around the taillights; the lack of chrome treatment on the taillights makes the car look unfinished, which is a shame, because a lot of work was put into this car. It's too bad that work stopped before the taillights were properly dressed. Back to the original question of "What is it?" What does the title say that is? The VIN plate should have some insight into what the car may be, assuming that it's still there. Perhaps the frame and engine have ID stampings that could provide some insight.

At first glance a '65 Malibu or '66 AMC Rebel...I went with Malibu when I saw the dash board.

65 Fairlane on the rear sides and a 64 Malibu in the front. both cars are technically the same size.

definitely looks like a '64 Chevelle or Malibu with custom everything. Not sure what the grill is from...Tailights look '64 Pontiac. I would check for documentation under the back seat

do you have links for the body kit, the exhaust, and the rims? Mainly the body kit, I just bought my own sc430 and I'm looking into lot of these same mods.
