Nice musical version. I enjoyed hearing it. I have been looking for an isolated track of his actual solo. I McGuin play it live about 20 years ago. Seem to me like he just played the same thing he did on the original version. It has always seemed near chaos to me so I was sort of surprised he played as it was intention rather than jamming it out. A friend was playing drums in his pick up band at that show. My friend told me McGuin played just the same in rehearsal as well.

A thoughtful replacement. Never really saw the point of straight humbuckers in a Jaguar.Might as well be an SG. I like the Surf's , but also be aware of the (Alnico2) Phat Cats and Railhammer Cleancuts if you want the flat EQ and fatter lows most P90's lack.The switching on the Jag is very useful with the right pickups.
