What is LEEF? The LEEF Program empowers individuals with personal experience in the criminal justice system to contribute to bi-monthly expungement events and community outreach in Los Angeles. Participants gain skills, support, personal and professional growth opportunities, and wellness resources to ensure their overall well-being while positively impacting their communities.
The Lived Experience Expert Fellowship (LEEF) program is a specialized training initiative designed to equip individuals with personal experience in the criminal justice system with the necessary knowledge and tools to contribute effectively to community outreach and various support events. This year we showed up at SFV Pride and Rainbow Resilience with the intention to share our resources! As an act of rebellion, we showed to pride sharing expungement resources and volunteer opportunities to empower system impacted people!
