I don't pay attention to the waypoints anymore in this game. I only use my navigation skills and the freeways.I would only use the one lane roads whenever it's the shortest distance I can find to get somewhere. I went one time from key west to meteor crater. I tested the route I took and the route that the game would've recommended me to do or the waypoint. After I did the route that the game would've recommended me to do, I found out that my route seemed to be faster than the waypoint. This was a great video Marcio but I suggest you use the freeways more. You did about half or a little less than half of the video being on the freeway. That part in the Mountain States where you turned right and headed to Winslow, I would've suggested you to stay on the freeway because the freeway first does head directly up north in the West Coast. Also all I'm trying to suggest here is try to use the freeway for the majority of the amount of miles you drive in one of your long road trips. The freeway has 4 lanes that you can drive on or use to not crash. The roads that you took after you turned right in the mountain states were just 2 lanes. In the freeway, you have a less chance of crashing if you use the 4 lanes. In the 2 lane roads, you have a higher chance of crashing use because you have 2 lanes available. Although in the freeway, there are some parts where there are barriers allowing you to just use 2 lanes. But most of the freeways length in this game allow you to use 4 lanes to not crash. So this is why I don't trust waypoints in this game anymore and these were also some suggestions if you are going on a long roadtrip in The Crew.
